Why parking is so easy at Choi Main Branch in Yangsan
Choi Main Branch is a large bakery café located on the way from Yangsan over to Hopo, and it's easy on parking too — CHOI indeed! I went to Choi Café, a famous bakery spot in Yangsan!! These days, wherever you go, having easy parking really makes it a low-stress trip!
(I once had such a rough time at a café with no parking lot. ㅜㅜ So this is precious. 👍👏🥹) Choi has parking on the 1st floor both in front of and behind the building, plus parking all the way down to the basement level, so there are plenty of spots and it's so convenient!
The entrance after parking! There's a drive-through, so you can even order and pick up from your car for extra convenience! Being a large café, my expectations were already high just from the entrance. haha
Browsing and tasting the bread at Choi Main Branch
The 1st floor bakery at Choi Main Branch has a really wide variety of pastries. It's not just that the bread tastes good — the shapes are so pretty too! The cuteness of the sofa-shaped pastry. I stared at it for a while 😆 It's already hard to choose bread! But with so many pretty, unique-shaped breads, browsing is genuinely fun. haha
Even though closing time is still far off, a lot of breads sell out, and a lot of them get restocked! And the sampling is so well set up that you can taste before choosing and fall in love with it!
Chewy cheese bread at Choi Main Branch
The chewy cheese bread wasn't greasy at all, but nutty and even had a clean, light finish! The cheese aroma wafts through and it's chewy, with a great texture to bite into.
The Wagujak series and the signature Moon Holding the Sun
The Wagujak crunchy series, kind of like wakppubol! It looked like it would make a great gift! Since the basics at Choi are all delicious, you get guaranteed taste AND guaranteed looks!!
A signature bakery item you can only find at Choi. The Moon That Holds the Sun!! A bakery item with real ideas behind it. A menu you can't find anywhere else — only at Choi — Choi's own unrivaled signature bread, a pastry wrapped around a raspberry shot!
Look at the range of bread! Such a huge variety! I really got choice paralysis. haha But even then, the taste was so good too! I thought, so this is what choice paralysis really feels like! haha I've been here many times since it's such a famous bread spot, but this is actually my first time posting about it!! Sometimes I eat here, sometimes I grab it as a snack or a simple brunch to-go — a genuine bakery gem!
Seating and the Nakdong River view at Choi Main Branch
The high ceilings made the space feel even more comfortable!
There are plenty of seats scattered around, and maybe because it's so spacious, it feels comfortable and you can sit at whichever angle you like! There's a mountain view, and even a panoramic Nakdong River view! You can just relax and unwind, or enjoy your café time watching the subway pass by or looking out at the river — Choi Café is great in so many different ways! There must be a reason so many people come here, right~?! 😄
Corn bread with a hot americano
This time it was corn bread packed with corn, with a warm americano. As expected of a famous bread spot, it's stuffed and packed with corn, so the more you chew, the more that popping texture comes through, and it's so good! You know that coffee that tastes good whether it's hot or gone cold is the real good coffee, right?! Choi's coffee is exactly that kind of good coffee!
There are also seats decorated with a beautiful chandelier,
the ideal spot to take in the Nakdong River view. Since I prefer stepped seating you can lean back against, this is a place I come to often. haha And it's just as amazing as ever!
On an autumn sky like this, the view is just unbeatable!
It's always full of people, so it's hard to get a photo, but I got really lucky and managed to snap one quickly!
With such good bread and so many varieties, the delicious bread smell drifts through the store and makes you want to take photos. haha
