Camping BBQ restaurant in Daejeon with beer refills: Hanmaeum Tapnip

This is Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang, a BBQ restaurant I visit often!

The Tapnip location runs things a bit differently, so I came to show you exactly what makes it special!! Today I'll walk you through step by step how we used the place and pack in every bit of fun stuff, so stick around for a full rundown~~~~~~!

Where is Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Tapnip, and when is it open?

Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Tapnip is located at 601 Tapnip-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. It's open weekdays 15:00–23:00 and weekends/holidays 12:00–23:00, with free parking available.

How much is the camp fee, and what does the tent include?

We booked a weekday 7pm slot, prepaid the ₩15,000 camp usage fee, and headed over.

A basket with dishes and utensils for the right number of people is waiting for you — just set it up yourself.

They also prepare basic side dishes, doenjang soup, jjolmyeon noodles, and sauces for you.

A private tent in Daejeon where pets are welcome

At Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Tapnip, you can even bring your pet into your own private tent!

✔️ It's a shared space everyone uses, so please check the etiquette guidelines before you go!

There's a campfire set up right in the middle of the tent (✔️ this is used after the meal — check the photos below)

Meat and ingredients from the mini-mart, plus ₩4,000 unlimited beer

For meat, you head over to the mini-mart

You can buy meat, vegetables, mushrooms, ramyeon, rice, drinks, alcohol, ice cream, and even marshmallows, all on a pay-later basis.

You can also grab extra side dishes and tableware there.

Beer is ₩4,000 for all-you-can-drink!! If you love a drink, this is basically a jackpot😆

Two pork platter sets for four, grilled by the staff

Once you pick your meat, the staff grill it for you themselves!! Our first order was two sets of the pork platter plus a mushroom assortment and sausage assortment (pork belly, pork neck, five-layer pork, pork jowl, pork shoulder)

The peppers were on the house, and the minari (water dropwort) and all the mushrooms were cooked perfectly so we could eat right away.

There were four of us, and it was so good we ended up adding an extra 180g order of pork belly😆

Eating tip: bring your own buldak (fire chicken) sauce

🌟 One eating tip — the mini-mart has buldak (spicy chicken) sauce, so if you like it spicy, be sure to grab some and dip your meat in it!!

They grill the kimchi for you too, so I got to eat without a single drop of oil on my hands and it was so delicious☺️👍

The doenjang soup was savory and spicy-hot, and it's such a nice touch that it's included in the basic spread

Campfire marshmallows and sparklers after dinner

After the meal, when we bought marshmallows, the owner skewered them onto long sticks for us. It felt like fishing — such a fun way to roast them😊
