Seoreojeong Munji Branch is a place where you can neatly enjoy several kinds of steak — flap steak, chop steak, sirloin, chuck flap steak — served as a set. They also have pasta, curry pork cutlet, and mentaiko mayo bibimbap (spicy pollock roe mayo rice bowl) on the menu, so there's plenty to choose from depending on your taste.
The exterior: easy to walk into
I was looking for somewhere to eat in Munji-dong and ended up at Seoreojeong Munji Branch. The exterior looked clean and unpretentious, so it felt comfortable walking in for the first time.
You'd think a steak specialty restaurant would come with high prices and a stiff atmosphere, but this place felt relaxed enough for office workers to grab a meal. It seemed like a good option for anyone in the Munji-dong area looking for a lunch spot or an evening date place.
Inside Seoreojeong Munji Branch: wood-tone seating and amenities

Walking inside, the first thing I noticed was the warm wood-tone feel.
Everything was neatly arranged overall, and the tables felt comfortable enough for a relaxed meal, which made it look like a fine spot for a family visit too.
It wasn't overly formal like a stiff restaurant, which actually made it more comfortable to eat in.

The restroom was kept clean too, and the staff were friendly, so I had a comfortable time throughout the meal with nothing to complain about.
Water was self-serve, and aprons were provided too — it seemed like a decent option for a family meal out.
What's on the Seoreojeong menu: steaks, pasta and rice dishes

Seoreojeong Munji Branch has a good variety of steak options, so there's fun in choosing.

You can pick from flap steak, chop steak, sirloin, chuck flap steak and more depending on your taste, and there are pasta dishes that pair well with steak too. Aglio e olio and tomato hangover pasta are apparently the popular picks.

If eating just steak feels like a bit much, you can go for something more familiar like curry pork cutlet or mentaiko mayo bibimbap, which seemed great for a group where everyone wants something different. So it's a good fit not just for people looking for a Munji-dong steak spot, but also for those who want pasta on the side.
Chop steak with the mini udon set

What I ordered this time was

the chop steak + mini udon set 🥩🍜

The chop steak came in bite-sized pieces, easy to pick up one at a time with a fork.

The meat was tender with a savory flavor that came through more the more I chewed, and it went really well with the sauce 😋

Paired with the warm mini udon, it turned out more filling than I expected.
Taking a sip of the udon broth between bites of steak cleaned my palate nicely — the combination worked pretty well ^^
Curry pork cutlet 🍛🥩

The crispy fried pork cutlet came with a mild curry, giving it a familiar yet hearty flavor.

The savory cutlet went well with the subtly rich curry, and eating it with rice made for a satisfying meal 😋

On a day when steak or pasta feels like too much, I thought this kind of menu would be a nice, easy option ^^

The curry was delicious, but the cutlet was really delicious too!!!

Dipping it in the curry makes it even better!
