Yeouido gyukatsu restaurant set menu, weekend wait: Hurato Sikdang
In short
Hurato Sikdang Yeouido is a gyukatsu (Japanese breaded beef cutlet) restaurant on the 3rd floor of Yeouido Finance Tower in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. On a weekend afternoon, two diners ordered SET 1 — two gyukatsu plus two drinks for 44,000 won — and added shrimp tempura with chicken karaage for 5,000 won, finishing the sirloin gyukatsu themselves on the mini brazier at the table. Weekends usually mean a wait at Hurato Sikdang, so booking on Naver Reservation or joining the CatchTable waitlist first makes the visit far easier.

Last weekend, my boyfriend and I went out for a Yeouido date and stopped by Hurato Sikdang Yeouido, a Yeouido restaurant famous for its weekend waits. It's a place for traditional-style Japanese gyukatsu (breaded beef cutlet), fried crisp on the outside and left tender inside, that you grill yourself over a mini brazier right at the table — which made the whole experience extra special. It's also close to Yeouido Park, so it's a great spot for a Yeouido date course, and enough people show up on weekends that there's a real wait. Here's my honest, detailed review from visiting in person.

Where is Hurato Sikdang Yeouido, and how do you walk there from Yeouido Station?
Hurato Sikdang Yeouido is inside Yeouido Finance Tower, about a 3-minute walk from Yeouido Station (Lines 5 and 9). The building wasn't hard to find since there's a Hollys Coffee on the first floor, and it's packed with all kinds of restaurants and cafés, so you can grab a meal and coffee in one stop. It's also close to Yeouido Park, making it a great spot for a weekend Yeouido date!

Parking at Yeouido Finance Tower: one elevator transfer
Parking in the building's underground lot is free. If you park there, note that you need to go up from the basement to the 1st floor first, then transfer to the ground-floor-only elevator to reach the 3rd floor. Knowing this ahead of your first visit makes things a lot smoother.

Hurato Sikdang Yeouido, a gyukatsu spot near Yeouido Park and a well-known Yeouido restaurant, sits on the 3rd floor of Yeouido Finance Tower. Once you go up, you're greeted by a clean, tidy storefront. The whole atmosphere is neat and uncrowded, which makes it a good fit both for Yeouido office workers' lunches and for date-night dinners.

Is there a weekend wait at Hurato Sikdang, and how do you reserve?
Before visiting, you can book ahead through Naver Reservation, or register for the waitlist on-site via CatchTable. There can be a wait during peak hours, so if you want a relaxed visit, I'd recommend reserving in advance.

Inside Hurato Sikdang: seating for one, two or four
Inside, the space feels clean and cozy, true to a traditional Japanese restaurant — this gyukatsu spot near Yeouido Park. It's a compact space, but it's set up with everything from single seats to 4-person tables, so it works well for both couples' dates and small group meals. With the little decorative touches and interior that leans into Japanese-inspired style scattered throughout, you can tell they put real thought into the details of the mood.
The single seats in particular are arranged so you can eat comfortably without feeling self-conscious about eating alone, which seemed great for Yeouido office workers dropping by for lunch.

Hurato Sikdang menu and set prices
The menu is full of dishes that sound delicious just from their names — gyukatsu, the restaurant's signature dish, along with soft-boiled omurice, steak set meals, steak rice bowls, Japanese curry, and beef belly rice bowls. Between the self-grilled items like gyukatsu and the simpler rice bowls, curry, and udon, there's something for every mood. If it's your first visit, I'd recommend the signature gyukatsu — and that's exactly what we ordered again this time to enjoy it properly, haha.

- SET 1: 2 gyukatsu or steak + 2 drinks, ₩44,000
- SET 2: 1 gyukatsu or steak + rice bowl + 2 drinks, ₩38,000
- SET 3: 2 gyukatsu or steak + rice bowl + 3 drinks, ₩59,500
Hurato Sikdang also offers set menus for first-time visitors or anyone wanting to try a bit of everything — from sets pairing gyukatsu and steak together to ones that include rice bowls and drinks, so you can pick based on your mood. Since we wanted to properly enjoy gyukatsu together this time, we went with SET 1!

The side dishes and four sauces served with the gyukatsu
It comes with warm rice, soup, diced radish kimchi, and cabbage salad, plus wasabi, salt, chili sauce, and soy sauce so you can season the gyukatsu and steak to taste. Having so many sauce options was great — dipping a piece in wasabi or salt, then trying it with soy or chili sauce, let us enjoy it in all kinds of combinations.

Sirloin gyukatsu grilled on the tabletop brazier: how it tasted
Look at that marbling — how is this not going to be delicious. Hurato Sikdang's gyukatsu uses beef sirloin, fried crisp on the outside and served rare inside, and you grill it yourself to your preferred doneness on the mini brazier at the table — that's the fun part, cooking it exactly how you like it!
The moment a piece hit the brazier, it sizzled and cooked through quickly, which was so satisfying — grilled with butter, then dipped in wasabi and the special sauce, and wow, it really melts in your mouth. Definitely worth the wait!

Top a well-grilled piece of gyukatsu with wasabi, take one bite, and before you know it, it's gone!

Shrimp tempura, chicken karaage and ramune on the side
Alongside the mains, we ordered the shrimp tempura + chicken karaage side for ₩5,000, a nice light addition. The crisply fried shrimp tempura and karaage were great to pick at between bites of gyukatsu and steak. For the drink included in the set, we picked ramune — the crisp, fizzy carbonation paired really well with the meat and cleaned the palate nicely between bites.

Gyukatsu near Yeouido Park: who to bring to Hurato Sikdang
If you're after something a bit different in Japanese food, I'd recommend this gyukatsu spot near Yeouido Park — Hurato Sikdang Yeouido. Grilling the crisp sirloin gyukatsu yourself on the tabletop brazier was genuinely fun, and pairing it with salt, wasabi, and the various sauces kept it interesting until the last bite. There are single seats for solo diners, plus tables for two and four, making it a solid pick for a Yeouido date. It's also close to Yeouido Station, so it's easy to get to — worth a visit if you're looking for a restaurant near Yeouido Park or a gyukatsu spot in Yeouido, haha.
