Hwaseong café
On weekends, when you actually make time to go out, you want to spend it somewhere with atmosphere and beauty, right? So while searching for where to go this weekend, I visited a café with great vibes near Byeongjeom Station in Hwaseong!

You could feel the owner's taste in every corner of the space, and with the music added, it was truly the perfect place to sit on a weekend *.* It had even better atmosphere than I expected — let me quickly introduce this Byeongjeom Station café, Baiden Coffee Bar!
Where is Baiden Coffee Bar, and where do you park?

Baiden Coffee Bar, the Byeongjeom Station café, is about a 7-minute walk from Byeongjeom Station on Line 1. Since it's close to the station, it's convenient to get to by public transit too.

There was no sign, but the white exterior stood out so it was easy to find. The building has these cute drawings on it, and there's a standing sign too!

You can park at the nearby Byeongjeom-gu Office public parking lot! There's no cost on weekends, and on weekdays it's free after 7:30 pm.
What the inside of Baiden Coffee Bar looks like

The inside of Baiden Coffee Bar was cozy and compact, decorated in black and white tones that gave off an overall sophisticated feel. It wasn't just about matching colors — from the carpet on the floor to the art on the walls to the small objects placed around, you could tell every detail was carefully considered!

There was so much to look at that even while sitting, I kept glancing around the space haha. Nothing about the decor felt cheap or mismatched — I honestly wanted to steal their interior design sense >< There are also seats with comfy sofas. Some people were there on dates, others with friends!
What's on the menu at Baiden Coffee Bar

There were non-coffee options too, like milk tea, iced tea, and sodas —

and desserts as well, with the menu listing the various beans, flavor notes, and characteristics so you could choose while reading through them! There was a wide variety, and since it also operates as a bar, they had whiskey and cocktails too! We decided on French toast and coffee!
Rwanda pour-over you pour over ice yourself

Rwanda beans are hot right now, so I was curious, and finally got to try them! It came with two glasses — the coffee served separately, and one glass with a big chunk of ice. You pour the coffee into the ice glass and adjust it to your preferred strength yourself.

Because they put in such a big ice cube like an on-the-rocks drink, the coffee didn't get watered down quickly, so it was great for slowly savoring the aroma! The beans had a clean finish.
The signature Baiden latte

Baiden Coffee Bar's signature Baiden latte wasn't too sweet and had a nutty, savory flavor. Such a smooth, delicious latte ><
How was the French toast?

The French toast bread had quite a bit of thickness to it. When I cut into it with a knife, the inside was genuinely so fluffy. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside!

It was dusted with powdered sugar and came with maple syrup, so it was a proper sugar rush +_+ It went great with the coffee, and it was so good I already wanted to order it again next time!

Great atmosphere, and the coffee and dessert were both delicious too — Baiden Coffee Bar in Byeongjeom felt like finding a hidden gem +_+ Next time I want to come back and have a whiskey or cocktail while listening to jazz!
