My husband and I headed out for a change of pace after work to a Mexican restaurant that's apparently a hot Magok date spot! From the red interior to the lively open kitchen vibe to the combo of juicy fajitas and tacos, it was all pretty perfect — here's my detailed rundown of Taqueros Magok Main Branch ✨

Taqueros Magok Main Branch is a Mexican restaurant on the 2nd floor of Magok GMG Tower. The moment you walk in, the bold red booths and warm wood-tone tables typical of Mexican restaurants catch your eye.

The seating is nicely spaced out, and the open kitchen keeps things feeling airy rather than cramped — perfect for a Magok date or a get-together.

Once you sit down and order, thin, crispy nachos with cheese sauce come out as a starter,

which was the perfect way to warm up your appetite before the mains arrived.

The fajita couple set — tortilla refills and sauce combos

If you're visiting Taqueros Magok Main Branch as a couple, the signature couple set is a no-brainer recommendation!

We went with the fajita option. The portion is seriously generous!

One plate comes packed with tender, thinly sliced meat, plump shrimp, and a rich cheese sauce.

Pile the meat and shrimp onto a warm tortilla, mix in tomato salsa, guacamole, sour cream and jalapeños to taste, and take a big bite — it's a festival of textures and flavors in your mouth 🥳

I loved having so many sauces to choose from, haha. The cheese sauce in the middle especially... total winner.

Just ask and they'll refill your tortillas! Pro tip: fold in the sides of the tortilla so the sauce doesn't spill out. We also ordered the orange ade — sweet, tangy, and so good!

The set's two tacos — fried chicken and fried fish

The tacos included in the couple set have crispy fried fillings piled sky-high with crunchy vegetables and creamy sauce.

One had fried chicken inside, the other fried fish. Every bite brought a really distinct textural contrast, giving it a totally different charm from the fajitas.

These tacos... were so good. I'll definitely order them again as a single item next time!! The toppings are so generous that putting on the disposable gloves provided at the table and folding the taco cleanly in half makes it much easier to eat.
