Hi everyone! I was out in Gwangalli today and suddenly craved pizza for lunch, so I stopped by a Gwangalli pizza spot I hadn't visited in a while.

Where is Extra Mile, and how do you walk there from Gwangan Station?

Extra Mile, a great Gwangalli pizza place in Busan, sits in the alley near Gwangnam Police Substation, next to Gwangan-dong Ssangyong Yega Ocean, along the walk from Gwangan Station (Line 2) toward Gwangalli Beach.

Outside the shop, there's a cute logo along with a menu board you can check before going in.

Inside Extra Mile: atmosphere and seating

Inside, this Gwangalli pizza favorite has a bright, casual American dining vibe with wood interiors — and since it hasn't been open long, everything felt really clean.

There's a 4-person table by the window, great for families or friends, and a bar-style counter in front of the kitchen that looks perfect for solo diners or couples.

There are more seats toward the back, and tables can be pushed together, so this Gwangalli pizza spot can easily handle bigger groups too.

House salad at Extra Mile: the ranch dressing is the star

After a bit of coloring, our house salad arrived pretty quickly! It comes with butterhead lettuce, ranch dressing, bacon, and nuts.

I'd been gaining weight lately, so I ordered the salad as a diet meal, but visually it's completely different from the usual salads we order — and the second I tasted it, wow, the sauce was amazing!

The ranch dressing pairs so well with the crisp vegetables, and the bacon and nuts on top add a real burst of flavor with every bite! This kind of salad was new to me, but I loved it from the first bite and kept going back for more — the vegetables were super fresh and the ingredient quality was excellent!

Next up was the potato and birria taco half-and-half pizza, finished off with an added cheese crust!

The potato pizza comes topped with big potato chips, and they recommend picking it up whole rather than cutting it with a knife.

Topped with dubaek potatoes, truffle oil, and bacon, this potato pizza has a mayo base but isn't greasy at all — the sauce pairs perfectly with the clean, savory taste of the potato, and the crispy potato chips and fries on top are the real kicker. I already love potato pizza, but Extra Mile's version is legit the real deal!

The crust edge, with the cheese crust added, is thick and packed with savory cheese.

Birria taco pizza: cilantro, but gentle

Next came the birria taco pizza, with thinly sliced beef, cilantro salsa, and sour cream — one bite and it had serious Latin American flavor. You can taste the cilantro, but it's subtle rather than overpowering, so it worked really well, and the crunchy nacho chips and onions were a perfect match.

Washing the pizza down with a cold Coke made me completely happy, haha. They even added lemon to the ice cup — such a nice touch. If you're craving Gwangalli pizza, there's no need to look anywhere else — Extra Mile is the place to go!
