Cheonho-dong hair salon 4-step treatment for frizzy ends: Juno Hair

Hi, I'm Blie :) After a recent color and perm, my hair's gotten a lot drier and frizzier than before...

Look at this.......ㅠㅠ The dryness from the middle of my hair to the ends got so bad, tangling when I comb it started bothering me, and overall it just looked like it was missing shine....

I usually keep up with treatments and hair essence at home too, but I figured damaged hair needs professional care, so I went to Juno Hair Cheonho Rodeo, a hair salon in Cheonho-dong, for a clinic and got the premium hair care done. :) Here's my review of the visit — designer Yeondu was so kind it put me in a great mood!

Juno Hair Cheonho Rodeo is open Mon–Fri 10:30–21:00, Sat–Sun 10:00–20:30, and offers up to 3 hours of parking support.

• If you use the Cheonho Underground Parking Lot, entering through the doors near zones A19, A20, B19, B20, C19, C20 gets you a closer exit.
• Rodeo Palace Parking Lot also supports up to 3 hours of parking. (It's a mechanical parking lot, so EVs and large vehicles may have trouble using it — in that case, use Cheonho Public Parking Lot instead.)

Juno Hair Cheonho is a 3-story building. First off, the interior is super clean! It has a really modern feel.

Bringing a child to the hair clinic: consultation on the 2nd floor

Followed designer Yeondu up to the 2nd floor~ Actually, my kid wasn't feeling great that day so she couldn't go to daycare, so I brought her along (my second kid sits still wherever we go, so she's very easy to bring around). Despite worrying about bringing a kid, they were so kind and took great care of us that I left in a great mood.

Before starting the treatment, of course they had to check my hair condition first~ Yeondu explained step by step which parts were currently dry and damaged.

My dry, frizzy hair condition before the clinic — can you feel the dryness just from the photo,,? I think it's from regular coloring plus a recent root magic straightening on top of that...ㅠ The frizziness got worse toward the ends.

Touching it with my hand, it definitely felt rough and lacking in moisture..... (my skin and hair are both a dry type overall.. I really need to drink more water....)

How does the Juno Hair 4-step premium hair care work?

The clinic I got that day was the Juno Hair Premium Hair Care. It's a clinic that fills damaged, dry hair with what it needs step by step in 4 stages: step 1 moisture → step 2 protein → step 3 oil → step 4 coating.

Step 1: moisture care

The first thing done was the moisture-filling step. Hair itself gets dry and frizzy-feeling, so they first fully replenish the missing moisture, putting the hair in a state ready to receive the nutrient care in the next steps.

Step 2: protein care

In this step, protein that damaged hair needs is replenished to manage the hair to be a bit firmer. Repeating chemical treatments like coloring or perming can leave hair damaged, limp, frizzy, or rough-feeling, so protein, pump it in~

Step 3: oil care

Next, step 3! After filling in moisture and protein, the third step is adding oil! For dry hair, moisture matters, but the right amount of oil needs to be there too so it can settle down calmly without that frizzy feeling. (It doesn't end up looking greasy)

Step 4: coating care

Last is the coating step to finish it off~ this❤️ It's the process that smooths everything out so the moisture, protein, and oil filled in earlier stay well in the hair. As the surface smooths out, overall shine comes back too...ooh

Ta-da! The premium hair care is finally done💕 Back to calm mode~~~~!

Just from blow-drying it like this, my once-frizzy hair got a lot calmer~ Especially the dryness from the middle to the ends that bothered me the most got way more settled, and I can visibly see the shine coming back overall.

Most of all, the texture when I touch it is so soft haha. On clinic day you don't wash your hair, which is nice. The next day I washed and dried it and there was way less tangling when combing — it combs through much more smoothly than usual.
