Cheonho-dong hair salon 20-minute thinning cut for dry ends: Juno Hair
In short
Juno Hair Cheonho Rodeo is a franchise hair salon in Cheonho-dong, Gangdong, Seoul, a 3-minute walk from Exit 5 of Cheonho Station. A month and a half after the last visit, long layered hair had turned straw-dry with messy, uneven ends, so designer Yeondu trimmed the ends, thinned out the weight and finished with a blow-dry in about 20 minutes. The length came out even, light and neat, proving a cut alone can change the whole look.

Why return to Juno Hair Cheonho Rodeo after a month and a half?
My hair had gone stiff like straw and grown out all over the place. So once again, about a month and a half later, I went to get a trim. Juno Hair Cheonho Rodeo, known for doing great women's cuts in Cheonho-dong — being a franchise, the interior was bright and clean in every way.

Today I had designer Yeondu — I'd heard she was great at women's cuts in Cheonho-dong and made the trip especially for her. A young, skilled designer who greeted me warmly, which made me feel welcome right away. When I told her what state my hair was in, she trimmed it up beautifully.

Inside Juno Hair Cheonho Rodeo: waiting area and shampoo room
As always, about a month and a half after my last layered cut, the ends had gotten messy and the length was uneven everywhere, so it never looked tidy when let down. In cases like this, good scissor work is the answer. Juno Hair Cheonho Rodeo's interior was as spacious as I expected. There were plenty of comfortable chairs and waiting seats too. The space felt open and pleasant rather than cramped, which put me at ease. The clean mirrors and well-organized shampoo room were a nice touch too.

A 20-minute cut: trimming the ends and thinning long layered hair
I sat down and put my hair in her hands. Among Cheonho-dong hair salons, this one especially had a lot of female clients, and it was a place that did everything well — layered cuts, perms, coloring. The cut for my long hair took about 20 minutes, and designer Yeondu was fast, which was such a relief.

At the same time, it was obvious she was experienced with long layered cuts on women — she trimmed the ends neatly and thinned the hair lightly, which honestly impressed me. When someone's skilled, you can tell just by watching how they handle the ends and manage the thickness.

Once the messy ends and all the unevenly grown-out bits were trimmed into something lighter and fresher, I really felt relieved. I'd asked her to even out the overall length, and it came out so soft and neat that my walk home felt lighter too.

Before and after: how the cut and blow-dry turned out
The before and after made a clear difference, right? It came out clean, stylish, neat, and elegant, which made me even happier. Thanks to designer Yeondu finishing everything off perfectly with a blow-dry, I even thought I could head straight to a blind date looking like this.

There was a time I was so short on time I'd just cut my own bangs at home. But no matter what kind of hair you're dealing with, leaving it to a professional is always the right answer.
I had another appointment that day, so I went out with my swishy new hairstyle in tow. Someone who saw me said I looked really pretty, which made me feel refreshed and happy about my new look.

Designer Yeondu, who's genuinely skilled at women's cuts in Cheonho-dong, is so good that I grabbed her business card right away. Of course it's not just women — these days plenty of men drop by hair salons instead of barbershops too, so coming together to get styled could be a good idea. If you want to become a softer, more stylish woman with atmosphere this fall, remember this place.
