I'm a total pizza person — I like pizza way more than chicken, haha😁 So I fired up my laptop despite being exhausted, because I wanted to introduce a delivery regular of mine that I order from whenever I'm craving pizza at home🥺 It's my true love of a restaurant: Italian Pizza!

I'd already confirmed how good it is through delivery, but I wanted to feel that hot, savory cheese aroma fresh out of the oven in person, so I went to visit 👍🏻

What the exterior looks like

The lights inside were already on, so it stood out even from the alley. There's a terrace deck where you can eat too, so I think visiting in spring or fall to eat outside would be even more atmospheric🫶🏻

The vibe inside

The moment I opened the door, the owner greeted me with such a warm, bright smile that I felt good from the second I stepped in💓 A friendly restaurant really is love...🫶🏻 The inside is a moderate size and kept very clean. The interior is done in warm wood, giving it a cozy feel that I really liked. Italian Pizza also has a clean private restroom inside👍🏻

A menu where the pizza sizes start at S

The biggest strength of Italian Pizza in Paengseong is that the pizza sizes don't start at M — they're broken down all the way from S! When two people visit, ordering a whole pizza plus pasta usually feels like too much food, but here the S, M, L breakdown makes it perfect for pairing with a side dish.

That day we ordered the beef pizza S-size loaded with savory meat toppings, with a cheese add-on, plus oven spaghetti to go with it!

Can you bring kids? The thoughtful kids' facilities stand out

Looking around the counter and the restaurant, I noticed several spaces that showed the owner's warm consideration. There were kids' chairs, of course, plus a cute character coloring booklet and colored pencils so children wouldn't get bored while waiting for their food. There were also drinks on hand that are good for kids to drink.

Every table comes with whole red pepper flakes, parmesan cheese, and spicy hot sauce ready to go. I ordered cold water and a zero-sugar cola and waited quietly with my husband for the pizza...🥹

Pure savory bliss: the beef pizza

The moment I lifted a slice with the server, the cheese cascaded down like a waterfall, stretching out long — as a pizza lover, I actually gasped...💓 The second I bit in, the dough's chewy bounce and the rich flavor of natural cheese came flooding into my mouth so heavily that my brow furrowed ㅠㅠㅠ Doesn't it look delicious just from the photos?

It wasn't greasy cheese that just sits on top — the more you chewed, the deeper the cheese flavor spread, and it was moving. We were talking so much the pizza cooled down, but it never got tough — even cold, it stayed chewy and delicious.

The pasta we ordered alongside the pizza also passed the visual test right away👍🏻 Following the owner's tip and sprinkling parmesan cheese powder on top and mixing it in doubled the depth of savoriness. ✨ Make sure you sprinkle and mix in the parmesan!

After mixing the cheese in well with a fork and twirling up a bite of noodles, there was no heaviness or excess acidity — just a great balance between the tomato's brightness and the meat's rich umami. It wasn't too salty or too bland, the seasoning was exactly right.

It's a delivery regular I'd already confirmed was good, but tasting the pizza fresh from the oven, hot and in person, was genuinely soooo much better and deeply moving...🫶🏻 From the owner's warm, friendly service to the comfortable, clean interior, the various amenities considerate of kids, and the delicious food — Italian Pizza left nothing to complain about in any respect.
