Sushi lunch set in Dongnae, Busan: Moshi Moshi Sushi

I was craving sushi for lunch, so I visited Moshi Moshi Sushi (모시모시 스시) Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch. I chose a set that let us have several kinds of sushi along with noodles and tempura.

Where is the restaurant, and is parking available?

The restaurant is on the eighth floor of Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch, at 1393 Jungang-daero, Dongnae-gu, Busan. Being inside the department store made it convenient to eat while shopping, and we could use the department store parking lot.

What is the seating like for families or groups?

The interior was more spacious and tidy than I expected. The tables were set comfortably apart, so we could eat without feeling cramped.

There was separate seating farther inside. I thought it would be a good option when you want to eat somewhere a little quieter. It also looked comfortable for families or larger groups, and there was a children's menu.

What comes with the lunch set for two to three?

We ordered the set for two to three, which came with 18 pieces of sushi, shrimp tempura, and a noodle dish. Since we could choose the noodles, we went with yaki udon, which I usually enjoy. It was a set that let us try several things at once.

The meal started with salad, tofu salad, clear soup, and danmuji (pickled radish). The tofu salad was nutty and mild, which suited my taste. It was a nice light bite before the sushi arrived.

How were the assorted sushi varieties and rice portions?

The sushi included a good variety, and it was fun to try each piece. Each type suited my taste.

I prefer sushi with a smaller amount of rice. When there is a lot of rice, I get full after only a few pieces, but the portions here were not rice-heavy, so it was easy to eat several pieces.

I tend to have plenty of wasabi, so I added a little more. The sharp flavor made it especially enjoyable.

How was the added flounder belly sushi?

We added two pieces of flounder belly sushi to the set. It felt different from the sushi in the set, and it suited my taste, so I was glad we added it.

Is it filling with yaki udon and shrimp tempura?

The yaki udon we chose included seafood. It paired better with the sushi than I expected and suited my taste as well. Sushi alone might have felt a little lacking, but with the yaki udon, it made for a filling lunch.

The shrimp tempura included in the set was warm and crisp on the outside when we ate it fresh. With sushi, yaki udon, and shrimp tempura, we left feeling full.

For this meal, I liked having several kinds of sushi together with side dishes. We ate comfortably in the spacious restaurant, and I would like to return the next time I want sushi in Dongnae.
