Pizza restaurant in Cheonan: burrata and red shrimp pasta, Napoli Shinbu
In short
Napoli Shinbu (나폴리신부) is a pizza restaurant in Shinbu-dong, Cheonan. On my second visit, I had burrata pizza and gamberi oil pasta; the generous arugula, burrata, and pronounced shrimp flavor stood out, while parking in nearby alleys was the one drawback.

I went back to Napoli Shinbu after enjoying the pizza and pasta there with my husband last time. Wanting to try other items one by one, I chose the burrata pizza and gamberi oil pasta this time.
Where is Napoli Shinbu, and what was parking like?
Napoli Shinbu is on the first floor at 46 Bangjukan 3-gil in Shinbu-dong, Cheonan. Parking was the one disappointing part over my two visits. This time, too, I found a spot in a nearby alley, though I have never had to leave because I could not park.

What was the interior like for a meal for two?
The atmosphere was just as nice when I returned. We had decided to have wood-fired pizza, and as we walked in, we considered whether to pair it with a salad or pasta.

The rain that had fallen in the morning had stopped, making the view outside feel even greener. There were various tables inside, and it looked suitable for anyone from solo diners to groups of two or three, or four. It felt comfortable enough to seem familiar even on my second visit.

We arrived a little early and sat at a table for two. I liked that the table was neatly arranged.

What did I order on my return visit?
I considered ordering the same combination as last time, but decided to try something different. I ordered the burrata pizza topped generously with arugula and the gamberi oil pasta flavored with Argentine red shrimp and artichoke. I was also glad to see zero-sugar drinks.

There was a small wood-fired oven in the restaurant, and I saw them making everything themselves, from the dough to the toppings. The burrata pizza came before the pasta, so I wanted to eat it before it cooled.

Just as I was about to taste the pizza, the gamberi oil pasta arrived too.

With the two dishes together, the table looked colorful. I also liked that the pickles served alongside contained olives.

What did the gamberi oil pasta taste like?
The gamberi oil pasta came with two Argentine red shrimp. There were also plenty of cocktail shrimp and sliced garlic, and the shrimp aroma was more pronounced than I expected.

What did I like about the burrata pizza?
There was plenty of burrata cheese on top, so I spread it out before serving the pizza.

The pizza dough itself was good, too. It was easy to enjoy the crust with sauce as well.

The crust was good dipped in Tabasco sauce from the self-service bar, or in the basil pesto on the pizza. Above all, I liked the generous amount of fresh arugula on top.

What was available at the self-service bar?
The self-service bar had honey, pickles, and Tabasco sauce. You could take as many pickles as you wanted. There was honey too, which I thought would pair well with the pizza crust.
