Glossy sauce, looks spicy just from the shine, right? Tasting it, there's definitely real heat there. Personally it was a level I could enjoy — not just heat for heat's sake, but the sauce itself tasted good enough that I kept reaching for more. That said, it was definitely too spicy for the kids, and it'd be a good pick if the adults in your group like a spicy dakgangjeong!

Picking one up, the sauce was evenly coated all over the chicken. Sweet and spicy style sauce. If you like spicy food, this isn't a stop-after-one-or-two kind of taste — you'll keep reaching for more hahaha.

Watching them toss it fresh in sauce right after ordering made it taste even better too. That said, the spicy version I tried was spicier than expected, so if you're eating with kids, I'd recommend the mild or medium-spicy version instead.
