After finishing our outing at Anseong Farm Land, we were looking for somewhere to rest and visited Chat Baker Brunch & Bakery Café (챗 베이커 브런치 & 베이커리 카페), a café near Anseong Farm Land. I loved it so much.

From the wide first- and second-floor spaces to the stylish interior, varied baked goods, and music, this is a large Anseong café we really enjoyed.

Exterior and plenty of parking
The green-tinted glass façade and huge CHAT BAKER sign immediately catch your eye.

At first, I could not tell where it was because there was a clothing store there~~ Go toward the middle. 😆

Chat Baker is a large café whose scale is apparent even from the outside. There are lots of tea options, and coffees from several countries too. The cakes are so pretty, and brunch is available as well.
It is inside 512 Square, with generous parking, so it was easy to visit by car. It is only about five minutes from Anseong Farm Land, making it a convenient stop before or after a Farm Land outing. We went to the café and then looked around Starfield, haha.
About 500 pyeong over two floors: what seating is there?

The first thing I noticed on walking in was the open counter. I thought it was unusual~~ Chat Baker is a large two-floor café of about 500 pyeong, and the high ceiling makes it feel even airier and more open in person.
We settled on the first floor that day. There were so many types of tables and seating, from wooden tables for four to soft gray sofas and window seats. When I go to a café, I tend to look first for somewhere comfortable to sit, and here it was nice to choose a spot that suited your preference. Green trees are visible through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and water flows outside. You can just zone out watching the water~~ I also loved that it never felt cramped.

The view looking down from the second floor. Lots of people were relaxing upstairs too 😁
This is the second floor. That wonderful sculpture we saw when we came in.

The second-floor space was wide~~ There is also floor seating here, so it would be great for visiting with my sons.

We stayed on the first floor, but the second floor is quite large too. It also has a variety of table styles and generously spaced seats, so it looked good for a family visit. There are both chair seating and floor seating. The second floor is so~~ so~~ spacious.

This is the second-floor self-service bar. I think there are two ovens each, haha. LP records are on display. It would be lovely to come quietly for coffee as a couple, but it was also a nice space for visiting with parents or children, or spending unhurried time as a family. Seeing so many people with children, they seemed to be coming after Farm Land 😊
A café atmosphere enhanced by music
One reason I like Chat Baker is the music. Music from the BOSCH speakers gently filled the wide space; the sound quality was good, and it suited the café atmosphere so well. With the water flowing too, it is just wonderful~~

Our car has BOSCH too 😁 You know my husband, right? He was taking a little nap after the long drive~~ Classical music was playing..
Listening to good music while enjoying bread and coffee made me want to stay longer, even though we had only popped in for a quick rest. Looking around, it seemed that concerts are held here too. Chat Baker does host live jazz performances, and seeing the high ceiling and broad space, I thought it was a café that would really suit performances. It was not simply a big café; the music and space stayed in my memory together.
A bakery that is fun to choose from

Since we were at a bakery café, we could not skip the bread. The display was full of baked goods, with so many different kinds. From croissants and campagne to doughnuts and ciabatta, as you look through them one by one, you want this and you want that, so choosing takes quite a while.
The dessert showcase was gorgeous too. I wanted to eat everything, haha.

The cakes decorated beautifully like roses especially stood out, and I thought they would be nice for an anniversary or special occasion. In summer, there were also many refreshing bingsu (shaved ice dessert) options, including coconut mango, melon, and watermelon.
The breads and drinks we ordered as a couple

These are the items my husband and I ordered this time.
- Iced espresso tonic
- Strawberry milk latte
- Fig campagne
- Almond kouign-amann
- Ogarang
- Chestnut sauté olive oil
- Basil ciabatta sandwich
We ate so much, right? Haha. We left Sejong at nine o'clock. We were going to eat something light and have a meal at Starfield~ With so many types of bread, it felt a shame to choose only one, so we picked several things and shared them.

Of them all, I especially liked the fig campagne. The more I chewed it, the nuttier it became, and with figs inside, it went well with coffee. The coffee is delicious~~
The basil ciabatta sandwich was satisfying enough to eat as a meal rather than just a light bread. The strawberry milk latte looked lovely with its distinct layers, and it was lovely to drink too 😍 I never expected to find a place like this near Anseong Farm Land. Along with breads and drinks, Chat Baker also has brunch and pasta, so it is great for taking care of both a meal and a café visit in one place.
