Gyodae Station gimbap restaurant with open-window seats: Halls Gimbap

I go to Seocho's Gyodae Station area more times than I can count !! So I stopped by my all-time favorite gimbap place ,, today I'll introduce a Gyodae gimbap spot ! ₍ᐢɞ̴̶̷.̮ɞ̴̶̷ᐢ₎

Where is Halls Gimbap Main Branch, and when is it open?

My absolute recommendation from the Halls Gimbap menu — you gotta try this one ❤️

It's located at 90 Seochojungang-ro 22-gil, 1st floor, unit 101, Seocho-gu, Seoul.

Hours are closed every Sunday, Mon–Fri 08:30–20:00 with a break time 15:00–16:00, and Sat 08:00–15:00. Please double check Naver Place for Chuseok holiday hours !

Halls Gimbap is near Exit 1 of Gyodae Station. It's tucked in the alley along the road that runs from Gyodae Station toward Gangnam Station !!

Can you eat alone at Halls Gimbap near Gyodae Station?

This is what the inside of Halls Gimbap looks like. I'd always only ordered delivery from here before ,, but turns out the store has quite a lot of seats, so you can totally sit down and eat there too ? There were tons of solo diners ! Highly recommend it for solo dining near Gyodae Station

And true to the name "Halls," there are so many horse illustrations decorating the shop hahahahaha

And more — turns out there's a chicken set for pretty much every gimbap flavor, even mixed ones. Honestly the whole identity of Halls Gimbap is the dakgangjeong ;; ❤️❤️ Besides that they also have plenty of sides like tteokbokki, dakgangjeong, and Halls boneless fried chicken, plus cup ramen and drinks on hand

There's also a ramen shelf here and bonito broth available !! Eating udon broth together with gimbap is the best.

Here it is !! * Double-cheese egg dakgangjeong set * We ordered two double-cheese egg dakgangjeong sets, and after basically trying everything on the menu here, this double-cheese egg roll is basically the core identity of Halls Gimbap .. 👍

The door was open so it felt like open-air dining. In weather like this, eating while looking out the window is a must !!!!

A lot of people also order the wasabi gimbap here, and the spam gimbap is tasty too ,, pick whatever suits your taste !! But ,, definitely get the dakgangjeong ,, 🤤💗

The double-cheese egg ,, is so soft ,, and so delicious

And this dakgangjeong ,, you absolutely must get it as a set. That crispy, glazed chicken is unbelievably good ,, and it's spicy so it goes perfectly with the gimbap ! Gimbap + dakgangjeong is basically an unspoken rule
