Cheongdam hair salon inner clinic for bubble-dye damage: Beorn Hair

I went in to get my damaged hair clinic-treated before fall haha. I visited Beorn Hair, a Cheongdam hair salon also known for its head spa and scalp clinic! My hair had gotten really damaged and frizzy from frequent treatments, but after a thorough care session, it turned silky and smooth — I was so satisfied 🤍 Today I'll leave a detailed review of the Beorn Hair clinic I got!

Beorn Hair is about a 3-minute walk from Exit 3-1 of Gangnamgu-cheong Station! Being so close to the station made it really easy to find haha. I thought a Cheongdam hair salon might be a bit far, but the access was better than expected, so I got there without any trouble!

The interior felt spacious and comfortable overall! It was decorated cleanly in white tones, so the whole place felt bright and stylish haha.

I received the inner clinic treatment from Designer Yumin! She greeted me so warmly from the moment I arrived that I could start the treatment in a good mood haha.

Hair damaged by self bubble dye and frequent perms

After repeating dyeing and perming so often, my hair had gotten really damaged haha. In particular, doing self bubble-dyeing a lot in the past had made my hair very frizzy ㅠㅠ. On top of that damaged state I even got a C-curl perm, and after about a month it dropped fast, and I started noticing more tangling every time I combed. So this time I decided to properly take care of my hair and went in for a clinic treatment!

What is the inner clinic at Beorn Hair Cheongdam?

The inner clinic I received fills hair damaged by heat and UV rays with the keratin protein and nutrients it needs, styling it into softer, springier hair. Before starting, they explained step by step how the process would go, which made it much easier to understand!

A five-step inner clinic

• Step 0. Hair shampoo — First, the hair is cleanly shampooed to prepare for the treatment.
• Step 1. High-molecular keratin protein penetration — Fills damaged hair with high-molecular keratin protein.
• Step 2. Low-molecular keratin protein penetration — Fills in gaps inside the hair with low-molecular keratin protein to boost the repair effect.
• Step 3. CMC replenishment — Penetrates protein, moisture and lipids into the hair and strengthens bonding with the cuticle.
• Step 4. Cuticle recovery — Restores cracked, lifted cuticles to a springy, moisturized state.
• Step 5. Surface coating — Finally, a water-repellent coating is applied to the hair surface to boost shine, prevent color fading, and extend how long the clinic effect lasts.

Hearing that it's a step-by-step process managing everything from the inside of the hair to the surface made me understand why it helps with hair condition haha. Above all, they explained in detail which products they use and the principle behind each step, which made me trust the process even more!

The five steps of the Beorn Hair Cheongdam inner clinic

First, I moved to the shampoo room for the hair shampoo! The shampoo scent was lovely, and they shampooed every part of my hair thoroughly, so I could start off feeling good haha. Right after the shampoo, the care continued with high-molecular keratin protein applied into the hair. They filled the damaged hair generously with keratin protein and carefully worked it in so it would absorb well!

Then we moved seats to get into the main part of the clinic~ They set up a support cushion so I could sit comfortably, and even prepared iced tea and light snacks! My throat happened to be a bit dry at the time, so getting a cool iced tea was so nice ㅠㅠ haha. That kind of thoughtful service made me even more relaxed during the treatment :)

Next, they sprayed a low-molecular keratin mist evenly over all my hair! They took care to make sure it absorbed well all the way through, section by section haha.

They filled in plenty of the nutrients that damaged hair needs, and made sure it absorbed thoroughly into every section haha.

After that, they used heat treatment to open the hair cuticle so the nutrients could absorb better! Filling in the needed nutrients and then applying heat treatment made me feel like my hair was being managed thoroughly, right down to the core haha.

Next came care using nano steam to add moisture to the hair! The nano steam filled the hair with moisture and helped make sure the clinic effect would last even longer haha.

During the inner clinic, I also happily enjoyed the drinks and snacks they prepared haha. It was great to sit comfortably, snack, and sip a drink while getting the clinic treatment!

Head spa and scalp massage in the spa room to finish

After all the care was done, I moved to the spa room for the final shampoo! The spa room even had a massage chair, and they gave me a head spa and scalp massage as well, which made it a really healing time haha. Getting a comfortable massage on top of everything made me feel like not just my hair but my scalp had been properly cared for too! After the shampoo, they dried my hair thoroughly, and that wrapped up the whole clinic care. The total treatment time was about 1 hour 30 minutes!

How the hair changed after the 90-minute inner clinic

After the clinic, my hair definitely felt calmer than before haha. The frizzy, tangly hair got noticeably more settled and felt softer too, so I was really satisfied! In particular, the tangling I used to get when combing was much reduced, which made me really glad I got it done :)

Can you see the angel ring on my hair haha ✨ After the inner clinic, I feel like my hair found a shine it never had before haha. The frizzy hair now shines beautifully, and it feels like it gained more bounce and strength than before — really satisfying!

The dropped C-curl perm came back to life

Before the clinic, my C-curl perm had basically fallen out, so it looked almost like plain long straight hair! But after the inner clinic, the drooping C-curl started showing again little by little haha. As my hair got calmer overall, the perm seemed to bounce back more naturally than before, which surprised me! I was pretty satisfied with the clinic results this time, so going forward I plan to do some self home care in between and keep getting salon clinics regularly to keep my long hair looking nice haha.

This time I got the inner clinic at Beorn Hair, and my frizzy, tangly hair became so much calmer with shine and bounce added — I was really satisfied haha. They explained every step of the process in detail, and getting a head spa and scalp massage on top of it made me feel like I got a proper healing session, not just hair care!
