Today I want to introduce Luna Vine, a place I'd recommend to anyone looking for a good-vibe wine bar in Nonhyeon-dong 🍷 Tucked away in a Nonhyeon-dong alley, Luna Vine is a wine bistro where you can enjoy wine, food, and atmosphere all together. It's great for a date, of course, but also for a nice dinner with friends, or any day you just want to sip wine slowly with good food 🥰

Luna Vine really does have a huge range of drinks, from wine to whiskey to beer, so you can pick whatever suits your mood 🍷🥃🍺 I especially loved that they carry OBC beer, which you don't usually see at a typical wine bar — if you're into drinks, it's fun just to browse the menu!

True to a wine bar, they had all kinds of wine glasses ready, and the big wine cellar that catches your eye right from the entrance made it clear how much the owner genuinely loves wine haha. It didn't feel like a place that's just going for the vibe — it felt like a space wine lovers would especially enjoy :)

Overall, the seating at Luna Vine felt private yet relaxed, so it seemed well suited to small gatherings, business meetings, and even blind dates or regular dates. It's not a loud, crowded kind of place — it's a space where you can talk comfortably, so it seemed like a good pick for a special occasion!

I'd booked ahead, so they had a cozy table all set up for us.

And at a place like this, the bathroom matters more than you'd think — it was kept spotless, which put me in a good mood the whole time. It wasn't just the overall vibe that felt well cared for, but the little details too :)

OBC Wollong Blanc: the craft beer you can drink at Luna Vine

Tonight's drink: OBC Wollong Blanc!! OBC (Original Beer Company) is a Korean brewery based in Paju that makes a variety of premium craft beer styles, and it's already a beloved brand among beer fans 🥰 The one I had, 'Wollong Blanc,' is a Belgian white-style wheat beer 🍺 made with orange peel and coriander seed, giving it a gentle citrus aroma, a refreshing flavor, and a pleasant bitter edge that I really enjoyed haha. It's won awards at the 2023 and 2024 World Beer Awards, among other international competitions, so if you're at Luna Vine, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try 👍

How the aglio e olio, roast chicken and margherita pizza tasted

First up was the aglio e olio. Not salty or heavy, just clean and light — went well with the beer.

And the roast chicken here was genuinely delicious!!!! Crispy outside, juicy and tender inside — a dish I'll remember. Gotta get that protein in too lol!!! Everyone at the table loved it.

We also ordered the margherita pizza! 🍕 Thin crust, so it wasn't too heavy and was easy to enjoy. The savory, soft mozzarella, the bright tomato, and the subtle rocket aroma — the combination was really good.

Free popcorn and service: why I'd go back to Luna Vine

Catching up with friends I hadn't seen in a while, we talked for ages and completely lost track of time! Noticing that, the owner even brought out freshly fried popcorn on the house 🍿 Everyone there, staff included, was so kind 💕 The food was great and the vibe was comfortable, so I wanted to stay even longer at Luna Vine, this Nonhyeon-dong wine bar. With wine, whiskey, and beer all on offer to suit any taste, I want to come back and try different drinks and dishes next time.
