COEX mall restaurant for a pre-movie burger lunch: Bas Burger

The day my girlfriend and I planned to watch a movie at COEX, I figured lunch beforehand would be perfect, so I looked up well-reviewed spots near Samseong Station. I'd been craving a burger lately, and the Samseong Station burger place that caught my eye was Bas Burger. The burger quality itself was solid and the price was great too, making it a perfect lunch before heading to COEX! Where is Bas Burger Samseong Station, and where do you park?

Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch is a 5-minute walk from Exit 1, and under 10 minutes from COEX. It's slightly off the main commercial strip, which actually made it quieter and more relaxed to eat in.

There's no dedicated building parking lot, but there's a public street parking area right out front. Spots aren't plentiful, so I'd recommend coming on foot if you can.

The interior has a casual vibe with plenty of tables, so there was no wait to worry about. Lots of 4-person tables too, so it's a comfortable spot even for groups!

There are also bar-style seats along the wall, which seem good for eating solo if you're around COEX!

There's outdoor terrace seating too — nice for anyone who wants to enjoy a burger with a bit of terrace vibes now that the air's getting cooler.

Bas Burger menu and prices, and what we ordered

The signature Bas Burger comes in single, double, and triple patty versions, so you can choose based on how much meat you're in the mood for. Beyond the meat patties there's also variety like Hawaiian, mushroom, and crunch chicken burger, so you can pick whatever you're craving that day. Burgers start at ₩7,300 for a single item, which isn't bad in terms of value either.

The free unlimited fries corner at Bas Burger

Here's the reason I call this a great-value restaurant — this service corner tucked in a corner of the store.

Freshly fried fries, made right there in the store, are free — and if you're eating in, unlimited refills! Every time I come to Bas Burger I eat these fries; it's not an exaggeration to say I come just for them.

There are containers, mayonnaise, and ketchup right next to it, so you just scoop out as much as you want and bring it to your table~

They look kind of like potato chips, but they're made from fried fresh potatoes and the salty flavor is amazing!

Today's burgers arrived — the Bas Burger set & sweet potato fries (₩13,600), along with the double bacon cheeseburger (₩14,300)

We also ordered the recently launched chili mozza cheese bar (₩3,700) as a side! Look at that fresh-out-of-the-fryer shot, isn't it amazing?

They even gave us a generous set of sauces to go with everything without us asking — Bas Burger sauce, honey mustard, pollock roe mayo, and ranch, super generous~

How does the Bas Burger single set taste?

The single burger looked fresh with cheese, tomato, and vegetables visible at a glance — really appetizing. It's a size that fits in one hand, but felt heavy when picked up, so the basic ingredients were clearly generous.

The patty itself had rich juiciness, and the tomato and other vegetables stayed fresh, so the overall balance of the burger was fully satisfying!

Double bacon cheeseburger: American-style and satisfyingly greasy

Next up was the double bacon cheeseburger, a vegetable-free, American-style burger — recommended for those who like a greasy burger!

I was craving something indulgent for once, so I ordered this, and with the ketchup sauce blended in, it was exactly the American-style burger flavor I was after.

New on the menu: the chili mozza cheese bar

The newly launched side, the chili mozza cheese bar, with pale cheese stretching out — isn't that amazing?

The spiciness was quite intense, but dipping it in pollock roe mayo made it even more special! Eating a spicy cheese bar in between bites of burger felt fiery without any greasy feeling at all.
