Mori and Ttoori are certified pizza lovers... how much do we love it? When we planned our small wedding ourselves, down to the last detail, there was no debate about the food — it had to be pizza...!!! This time, the pizza-obsessed Mori-Ttoori duo hunted down and visited a real pizza gem!!!

Red awning, neon sign, and an interior like the Italian countryside

Follow the neon sign under the red awning inside, and you'll find an interior with the feel of the Italian countryside! Brick walls and artwork give it such good vibes...!!! We visited on a Monday evening, and honestly, if we'd come just a bit later we might have had to wait!

There's outdoor terrace seating too

Even though the seating felt fairly spacious, there were tons of people who came here obsessed with pizza too! There's also outdoor terrace (yajang) seating, so a pizza-and-beer round on a cool evening like these days...! That sounded amazing.

What's on the menu?

Take your time browsing the menu!! There are so many pizza options, and they're not your typical pizzas — plenty of unique choices! With a wide range of sides and drinks too, it looked perfect for a meal-and-drinks combo!

Complimentary nachos with two sauces, and pickles

Once you sit down, nachos with two dipping sauces and pickles come out first, free of charge. Good for snacking on while you wait for your food — the sauces looked like a yogurt sauce and a slightly spicy cheese sauce, and both went surprisingly well with the pizza too. The menu is available in full photo detail if you scan the QR code on the side of the table! Right next to it, parmesan cheese and hot sauce — pizzeria essentials — are set out as standard.

Ricotta shrimp tomato pasta and the half-and-half pizza

What we ordered: ricotta shrimp tomato pasta and a half-and-half pizza! First, the ricotta shrimp tomato pasta had a tomato sauce base loaded with big shrimp, topped with soft ricotta cheese. Mixing the tomato sauce with the ricotta made it so much silkier, and the shrimp were nice and chunky, making it a satisfying full dish. This place truly holds its own against the pizza — a Konkuk pasta gem, confirmed!!!

(They set the pizza on a candle warmer stand so it stays warm until the very last slice!)

For our main, we chose the half-and-half pizza with Philly cheese barbecue steak and five cheese. Getting two flavors on one pizza is especially great when you're out with a friend who has different tastes. The Philly cheese barbecue steak had generous, rich meat toppings that paired perfectly with beer, and the five cheese delivered proper savory, rich cheese flavor. You can tell from the photos that the pizza is a pretty generous size, right? Ordering pasta on top of it, the two of us left completely full.

Personally, I'd recommend not just going for the pizza alone but ordering the pasta with it too. You really need to know — this place has serious pasta chops...... 🥹

Good for what kind of occasion?

The vibe isn't overly formal restaurant-style, so it seems great for a casual hangout with friends too.

If you're looking for a good Western food spot in Konkuk, or a relaxed place to chat over pizza and beer in the evening, I'd recommend Pizza E Michida Konkuk branch. It worked well as a date spot or a dinner meetup with friends in the Konkuk area 🍺 Next time, I want to try a different pizza flavor with beer :)
