Where is Jinsimwang Donkatsu Seogwangju Branch, and where do you park?
Located near Seogwangju Station in Geumho-dong, this is the tonkatsu spot "Jinsimwang Donkatsu Seogwangju Branch." Right next door you'll find Yukgak Coffee, Daiso, and Uniqlo. It's the place I stop by whenever I'm craving Western-style tonkatsu in the neighborhood :) 🅿️ Free parking for 1 hour in the lot behind the store

Jinsimwang's tonkatsu is made with certified premium Korean pork loin, self-aged and never frozen, hand-breaded and fried fresh in-house for a crispy-outside, tender-inside bite with rich flavor. The sauce is a house special made the traditional handmade way with fresh fruit, apparently! 🌟
The cheese really does pour out like a waterfall
So much cheese, so happy...🥹💗 The meat was thick too, and the Western-style tonkatsu sauce was rich and delicious!
Sweet and spicy jjolmyeon! Nice to eat lightly alongside the tonkatsu. The jjolmyeon + tonkatsu combo never disappoints~~~

I love a moist, juicy tonkatsu too. The broth was slightly spicy, cutting through the richness perfectly, and the kimchi was cut into bite-sized pieces that were easy to eat.
Why lettuce wraps are a must at Jinsimwang Donkatsu
You can't visit Jinsimwang Donkatsu without wrapping your food in lettuce, right?! The tonkatsu + lettuce wrap combo somehow works surprisingly well. Add the jjolmyeon in too 👍👍
