Inside Samsin Garosu-gil: a Sinsa Station Chinese restaurant with private rooms
The restaurant is spread across the 1st and 2nd floors. With rooms available, it seemed like a great spot near Sinsa Station for company dinners or family gatherings. Rooms can be booked through Naver Place.
The interior gave off a pretty upscale impression. It wasn't at a waiting-line level, but customers kept coming in steadily, so the staff looked quite busy. (Clearly popular.) I think making a reservation would be the safer bet on weekends.

Corkage-free coupon and the receipt review freebie at Samsin
Samsin Garosu-gil's corkage-free coupon can be picked up on Naver Place. After that, just ask the staff about the corkage-free policy.
If you take part in the receipt review event, you get a free seasonal fruit ice cream. It came out as mango coconut sherbet.

Samsin Garosu-gil course menu and à la carte prices
Samsin's course meal seemed like something I'd recommend for a lunch — it includes crab soup, handmade dim sum, Tokyo tangsuyuk, noodles (choice of Taean potato jajangmyeon or meat jjamppong), and dessert.

There was also chili shrimp, dongpaurou, yurinki, Chinese-style hot stone bibimbap (₩13,000), crab fried rice (₩18,000), yuni chili jajangmyeon, and galbi-jjim jajangmyeon (₩25,000). The dim sum menu was varied too, and handmade pan-fried dumplings were also on offer. For drinks, there were Asahi draft, Kirin draft, and gaoliang liquor.
Free starters: gonggalppang puffed bread and jasmine tea

As an appetizer, we got gonggalppang (puffed sesame bread), which had a hotteok-like style and was easy to enjoy.

The jasmine tea served as a default was fragrant and helped fill the wait before the meal. I love Chinese restaurants that serve jasmine tea, so this worked out well!
Tokyo tangsuyuk and the tableside sauce-pouring show

Tokyo tangsuyuk was an interesting take on Chinese cuisine — a staff member poured the sauce into a pot right at the table, and it made a sizzling sound that was quite fun to see.

The batter on the Tokyo tangsuyuk was crispy, and the meat inside had good texture too. The sauce has a distinct buttery aroma. Once poured into the pot, the sauce clung nicely to the tangsuyuk, and it was the kind of flavor that calls for a beer.
Truffle sujeonggyo for two and kimchi xiaolongbao

Truffle sujeonggyo is the restaurant's signature dim sum — the truffle aroma really stands out, and it's filled with mushrooms, meat, and vegetables. It's a dim sum dish I've loved for a long time and it really suits my taste, so I specifically ordered two servings of the truffle sujeonggyo.

The kimchi xiaolongbao is basically like Korea's traditional kimchi dumplings.

How the East Sea seafood jjamppong broth tastes
I was thinking of having a glass of Asahi draft, but my companion wanted East Sea seafood jjamppong, so we ordered a bowl. Since it was our first visit anyway, I figured trying a bit of everything would be good. It was loaded with various vegetables like bok choy, shrimp, mushrooms, and onion.

The broth was incredibly refreshing and clean.

Probably because fresh seafood was used, the taste was really clean too. The East Sea seafood jjamppong had no meat in it, and since the broth was made mainly from seafood, it had a light, refreshing style.

If you're looking for a Chinese restaurant with rooms near Sinsa Station, I think Samsin is worth checking out!
