Today I came to a sushi spot in Dongnae's Lotte Department Store — 'Moshi Moshi Sushi, Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch.' The Dongnae branch is connected to Lotte Cinema, so it's great for grabbing lunch after a movie 💕

Moshi Moshi Sushi's Dongnae branch has a fairly spacious layout. The tables are well spaced apart and there are partitions too! The slightly separated inner seats felt more private — honestly, I thought it'd be a great spot for a blind date hahahahahaha 🤫

Menu and how to order at Moshi Moshi Sushi

(The menu) (ordered via tablet at the table) You can order set sashimi platters, solo assorted sushi sets, or individual sushi pieces 👀 There's a separate kids' set too, so it's good for bringing children!

+) The tables are spaced far enough apart that you can easily eat with a stroller parked beside you.

We kept it simple and each ordered a solo set!

What comes with the 35,900-won sashimi platter set 'The Better One'?

This is the 'The Better One' version of the sashimi set (the plain 'Good One' version is 31,900 won). The 'Better' version obviously means better cuts of fish, right?! ✨️ Since we're eating anyway, might as well go for the fancier version.

The sashimi set comes with 8 pieces of sushi + a sashimi platter + tempura + udon + salad!

There's a tofu salad and a regular salad — that tofu salad is so soft and tasty. It's like soft tofu pudding 🤍

We started with the sashimi. There was salmon 2 pieces, tuna 2 pieces, flounder, and abalone — every single piece looked really fresh ✨️

We shared a thick slice of tuna, one piece each. It was a lean cut, but maybe because it was so fresh, the flavor was still really rich 💫

⭐️ From salad to sashimi, sushi, tempura, and noodles — nothing was missing. That's the solo sashimi set.

How does Assorted Sushi D with tempura and udon (35,000 won) differ from the sashimi set?

Assorted Sushi D comes with 12 pieces of sushi + salad, tempura, and udon! Everything's the same as the sashimi set except the 'sashimi + sushi' part becomes '12 pieces of sushi only.'

The tempura comes in three pieces, and the udon comes in one big bowl~~~ So by the time you finish the salad, udon, tempura, and sushi, you've had a really full, all-round meal 💫

The udon felt a bit more upscale too. The broth was rich and delicious. 🥣 Finished the whole bowl in no time...!

All 12 pieces of Assorted Sushi D, one by one

On to the assorted sushi plate. The plating is gorgeous, right?? ✨️✨️ All 12 pieces looked carefully made (like each one was lovingly shaped by hand 💕)

(I'm the type who has to eat in order...🙋‍♀️) Cleared the first one, squid, and worked my way through each piece savoring it 💫

So soft and rich — this must be salmon belly! The wasabi melts right into it, and it just melts in your mouth.

For flounder there seemed to be two cuts — belly and fin 🤔 both high-quality cuts, each piece top notch.

The belly was chewy and rich, and the fin had an even richer flavor~~~ hahahahahaha 😇 all twelve pieces lived up to expectations.

Tuna. Looks like the main cut, glossy and shiny — piling on wasabi, it soaks in so smoothly~~~

One more piece of tuna. This one was even more marbled and glowing 💫 Looks like o-toro belly — so, so delicious!!!

The eel sushi was also generously sized, right?! 👀 Assorted Sushi D definitely puts more weight into the sushi than the sashimi set does (though the sashimi cuts on that set are fancier and more varied).

Had a thick, chewy piece of abalone sushi~~~ then a gunkan roll packed full of ocean flavor~~~

Shrimp tataki, beef sushi, and soy-marinated shrimp — cleared them all!!!! The soy shrimp was really fresh and tasty too. Every one of Assorted Sushi D's 12 pieces was solid ⭐️

What's in the tempura plate?

The tempura comes as shrimp, sweet potato, and kabocha squash. The batter itself is seasoned, so it's tasty even without soy sauce! Saved my favorite, the kabocha, for last 💘

Are two solo sets enough food for two people?

After finishing our own sashimi set and Assorted Sushi D set, we were really, truly full~~~~ The salad and udon were both great quality too. But most of all, the sushi and sashimi quality was excellent ✨️ (This place would be great to bring someone important, too.)
