Hannam-dong burger restaurant solo lunch: crispy chicken at Daily Fix

Monday, September 21, 2026 Such a scorching "hell day" for lunch! I discovered a food court in the basement of the Nine One Hannam retail complex haha. Hearing that Daily Fix, a well-known burger spot in Hannam-dong, had just opened a new branch there, I zoomed right over 💛

How to find the basement 2 food court at Nine One Hannam

A food court inside Nine One Hannam, known as one of the priciest apartment complexes around — heh. Clearly the food and store cleanliness were going to be solid 😆 Going down half a flight through the entrance shown in the photo,

there's an escalator heading down to the food court. Daily Fix is a brand-new store that opened at the start of September this year! With multiple other branches around, I figured the taste was practically guaranteed haha.

Riding the escalator down, the entrance is right there, and directly in front as you walk in is Daily Fix Hannam, the Hannam-dong burger restaurant everyone talks about. You order directly with staff, then sit wherever you like. Since it's a food court, there were tons of seats in the hall, and even though it was busy for a weekday lunch, turnover was fast enough that I don't remember any real wait.

Since I'm a human who loves chicken burgers haha... crispy chicken burger, ₩11,900. And since I'd heard the thick-cut fries were great, I upgraded to that version for the set, adding ₩5,900. And you've got to try at least one starred signature item, so I added the eggplant fritters (₩12,900) too ✨ Total order: ₩30,700 💛

After ordering, you get a buzzer. Since it was a busy lunch hour, I ended up with a two-person table, lucky me. It was crowded but not an uncomfortable environment for solo dining, which I liked.

Ta-da ✨ My chicken burger set arrived!!!! I ordered it after seeing reviews raving about the 18mm thick fries haha... They gave me a fork and knife, a straw, and tissues & wet wipes, and you can grab more freely at the pickup counter.

I tried the fries first. Served with ketchup, and even though they were thick, there was quite a lot of them!! Eating one hot, I could really taste the soft potato inside a crispy exterior haha. Not too salty, so it was great for dipping in ketchup. And honestly... eating these really fills you up lol lol lol, the portion is huge!!!

How thick is the chicken patty at Daily Fix Hannam?

Next, the chicken burger!!!! The skewer stick was practically buried in the bun, the thickness was insane lol lol lol.

Since photos don't quite capture this thickness, I held up my AirPods Pro 2 for scale.... A patty thicker than my AirPods Pro 2, case and all!!!!!!!!!! 💖

Opening it up, there were what looked like pickled red onion or cabbage slices piled on top of the patty. I like it when a handmade burger only has this much veggie in it ^^ I'd rather eat crunchy vegetables on their own lol.

That skewer and the fork and knife were essential for this crispy chicken burger!! It absolutely was not a size you could just bite into in one go lol >_< Sawing gently back and forth with the knife cuts it neatly, and looking at the cross-section, the thickness really is insane.

Can you see that juice...........? 🥹 So moving........ Chicken burgers really are love. True to its name, the crispy chicken burger has an incredibly crunchy coating with a bit of spiciness mixed in! Pairing it with the pickled veggies cuts through the greasiness of the fried coating too. Plus the soft chicken seems to be made of whole thigh meat 💕 Pick up all three components together for one bite and it's magic... handmade burgers really are the best, sob.

How big is the signature eggplant fritters portion?

Next up, the eggplant fritters served with Daily Fix's special sauce!! I honestly didn't expect them to give this much lol lol lol lol. Being in Hannam-dong, I figured with the price they'd give a smaller portion, but instead I felt like a big eater ^_^ As soon as I got it, I asked about takeout packaging to clarify that I'm not actually that much of a big eater haha.

The eggplant fritters had a thin, crisp coating so they weren't greasy, and the inside was moist and soft — proper crispy-outside, tender-inside texture haha.

The special sauce seemed to have celery in it!!! So appealing........ It was thick and rich, great for dipping generously, and whether it was the sauce or the red powder sprinkled on top of the fritters, there was some spiciness added too, making it a flavor you keep reaching for haha.

Takeout at Daily Fix Hannam: how leftovers are packed

The portions were way more than I expected, so I asked to pack the eggplant fritters and fries to go! They put each item in its own paper box and even packed extra sauces generously, sob 💕 Thanks to the sturdy packaging, everything made it home safely, and re-frying it in the air fryer made it crispy and delicious again!!
