Why Dance Dance Dance Hannam came to mind before a Han River picnic

🥪Dance Dance Dance The weather cooled down so we decided to picnic at the Han River park near Hannam and Oksu. I wanted to grab something to eat on the way, and Dance Dance Dance immediately came to mind.

I'd ordered delivery from this Hannam-dong sandwich shop once before and remembered it being delicious. This was my first time actually visiting the shop, so this time I went for pickup!

Where Dance Dance Dance Hannam is and when it opens

📍 Location Dance Dance Dance is at 67 Dokseodang-ro, 1F, Yongsan-gu. It's about a 10-minute walk from Hannam Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. There's no parking at the shop itself, so if you're driving you'll need to use a nearby public parking lot. For us, stopping by to grab takeout on the way to the river, it was the perfect spot.

How many seats does Dance Dance Dance Hannam have?

When I got there, the shop was really tiny. Out front there were about four outdoor seats, which looked nice for a quick bite on a good-weather day.

The indoor seating is modest, around five seats. (Outdoors, it looked like there was room for about two parties!)

The layout makes it easy to order and grab your food quickly, so it actually worked well for pickup. Even though the space is small, it's decorated so stylishly that for a second I felt like I was in Paris haha

What does the jambon jalapeño baguette taste like?

I ordered the jambon jalapeño on baguette and the tuna on ciabatta.🩶

The jambon jalapeño baguette was great starting with the bread! The outside shattered crisply but wasn't hard, and the inside was moist, so there was none of that tough, jaw-tiring quality you sometimes get with baguettes.

The tofu cream cheese wrapped the salty jambon in something soft, and a bit of jalapeño heat kicked in at the end, so there was never a moment of feeling greasy. With the tang of pickles added on top, I didn't get tired of it even after finishing the whole thing.

Jambon jalapeño baguette vs tuna ciabatta

The tuna ciabatta had softer, chewier bread than the baguette, which paired well with the tuna filling. The tuna wasn't dry — it was moist, so it was easy to eat without feeling heavy. Still, if I had to pick just one, it's the baguette for me! The crispness was so impressive that next time I'm planning to stick mostly to the baguette menu haha.

I saw they also have seasonal new menu items — a fig pistachio cream baguette sandwich and a chocolate baguette. They're a little~ pricier, but haha, next time I'm going to focus on trying those!

Is Dance Dance Dance Hannam a good picnic takeout stop?

This Hannam-dong sandwich shop was already delicious when I had it delivered, and picking it up in person was just as good. The shop is small, so there isn't much room to sit and eat, but as a stop to grab takeout before heading to the Han River, there's nowhere better. Especially recommended if you love a crisp baguette. Next time I have a Han River picnic planned, I'll probably be picking up here again!
