Today I visited Daily Fix, a burger spot known for its handmade patties, located in Gourmet 494 at Nine One Hannam 🍔 It uses buns toasted in butter and 100% hanwoo (Korean beef) patties — I ordered the classic burger and my husband got the double cheeseburger. Here's my review, from the juicy patties down to comparing the two types of fries :)

Where is Daily Fix Hannam and what is the restaurant like?

Daily Fix Hannam is on B2 of Gourmet 494 at Nine One Hannam. It's about a 10-minute walk from Hangangjin Station — head into the Gourmet 494 retail complex at Nine One Hannam, then go down to the B2 food hall and dining area.

Gourmet 494 itself is pretty large, so it can be a little confusing the first time you visit — but if you head toward the B2 food hall, it's much easier to find!

Daily Fix is a casual dining spot specializing in handmade burgers and sandwiches.

The space is clean and comfortable, so it felt less like the usual busy food court and more like leisurely enjoying a meal at a casual burger restaurant :)

How do the classic burger and double cheeseburger taste?

After a short wait, the freshly made burgers finally arrived! We each ordered one burger, both as sets.

🙋🏻‍♀️ I got the classic burger + regular fries. Daily Fix's basic burger with a 100% hanwoo patty, fresh vegetables, and a special sauce! Since it's the most basic option, it was great for enjoying the true flavor of a handmade burger.

🙋🏻‍♂️ My husband got the double cheeseburger + 18mm fries. True to his meat-loving self, it comes with a whopping two 100% hanwoo patties! With cheese added on top, it looked and felt way heftier haha.

🍟 We didn't pick the same fries either — one regular, one 18mm! The regular fries were thin and crispy, while the 18mm ones were crispy outside and fluffy inside — fun to choose based on personal taste :)

Classic burger

I chose the most basic option, the classic burger! Between buns toasted golden in butter are a hanwoo patty, tomato, onion, and lettuce.

Taking a bite, the patty was juicy and the meat flavor really came through. With tomato and lettuce added, it wasn't greasy at all — just clean and fresh!

The buttered bun was a quiet standout too. The outside was slightly crispy and nutty, which paired really well with the patty 🤍 It wasn't loaded with extras, and honestly that's exactly why it worked.

"Oh, the basic version is just... delicious?" — a textbook handmade burger!

I really like this kind of no-frills style, so I enjoyed it a lot :)

Double cheeseburger

Next up is my husband's pick, the double cheeseburger! True to its name, it has two hanwoo patties, making it much heftier than the classic. We both said "wow, these patties are really juicy and delicious," and it turned out they were 100% hanwoo haha. No wonder the beef flavor was so rich and got nuttier the more we chewed.

With cheese melted thickly between the patties, my meat-loving husband liked this one even more than the classic! 🧀🍔

Regular fries or 18mm fries: which set should you pick?

Daily Fix Hannam's set fries come in two types, regular and 18mm, so we tried one of each!

🙋🏻‍♀️ I had the 18mm fries. Thick-cut, crispy outside and fluffy inside — you really taste and feel the potato itself, which is exactly my style!

🙋🏻‍♂️ My husband had the regular fries. Thin and crispy, the kind you keep reaching for haha. Perfect for popping one in your mouth between bites of burger.

If you like crispy, go regular; if you like a thicker potato texture, go 18mm! 🍟
