I order pizza for delivery a lot, but nothing beats eating one fresh out of the oven right at the table, haha. This time I went looking for a place to eat pizza in Konkuk, and found somewhere that lets you enjoy half-and-half pizza, pasta, and chili cheese fries all in one visit.
The pizza menu is varied and the vibe is relaxed enough for a casual drink with friends or even a date. Today I'm introducing Pizza E Michida Konkuk University Branch (피자에미치다 건대점) :) If you've been looking for a pizza spot near Konkuk Station, I'll walk you through the full menu.
Where is Pizza E Michida Konkuk University Branch and how do you get there?
Pizza E Michida Konkuk University Branch is at 34 Achasan-ro 29-gil, 1st floor, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Takeout and reservations are available, along with Wi-Fi and group seating.

Come out of Konkuk Univ. Station Exit 1 and keep walking toward Hwayang Market — that's where you'll find it. Follow the alley and the restaurant shows up, so it wasn't hard to find from the station at all. Pizza E Michida Konkuk University Branch sits in an alley that's great for eating and hanging out in Konkuk, so it was easy to arrange to meet friends there.

The exterior is marked by an orange sign. It has that casual pizzeria feel, and in person it felt even brighter and livelier than in photos. You can tell it's a pizza place from far away, so it was easy to spot.

Outdoor tables and indoor seating at Pizza E Michida
There are outdoor tables outside. On a cool autumn evening like these days, it looked perfect for pizza and a beer outside. Unless it's peak summer or winter, these seats look like they'd stay popular.

Interestingly, the interior has a slight Italian pizzeria feel mixed with an American local pizza pub vibe. There's also a comfortable, old-school warmth to it, like a long-running local favorite, so it doesn't feel overly styled — which I liked. Tables range from 2-seaters to larger group seating, and the space itself is fairly large, so it looked good for get-togethers with friends or group meals.

Free nachos and the bonus salted pollack roe cream arancini
At Pizza E Michida Konkuk University Branch, crispy nachos come out automatically once you're seated. They don't just give you the nachos plain — a generous dipping sauce comes with them too, so they were great to nibble on while waiting for the food, haha.

And that day they also treated us to salted pollack roe cream arancini as a bonus. The outside was crispy and the inside soft, and when I cut it in half, the cheese stretched out big time. The savory brininess of the pollack roe worked really well with the creamy richness, so my first impression of Pizza E Michida Konkuk University Branch was already great before the main dishes even arrived.
What we ordered at Pizza E Michida and what it cost
Here's what we ordered that day.
- 🍕 Signature half-and-half pizza ₩18,900 — cream mushroom bacon + pepperoni bolognese, with a choice of scallion bacon cream cheese dipping sauce
- 🍝 Truffle Toowoomba pasta ₩14,900
- 🍟 Chili cheese fries ₩7,900

Chili cheese fries, 7,900 won
First up, the chili cheese fries! Classic crispy fries piled high with chili and cheese sauce. Just looking at it made me want a beer, haha.

The fries are crispy on their own, but loaded up with chili and cheese they're even better. Salty, savory, with that deep chili flavor on top — I kept reaching for more even before the pizza arrived.

Truffle Toowoomba pasta, 14,900 won
Next, the truffle Toowoomba pasta! The sauce is thick and slightly spicy. And the portion was honestly bigger than I expected. There was plenty of shrimp too, so this dish alone was pretty filling. If you're looking for a pasta spot near Konkuk Station and like cream-based sauces, this one's worth trying.

The noodles were cooked just right — not overdone or mushy, so the sauce clung nicely to the pasta, and eating it with the plump shrimp brought out the truffle aroma and the savory depth of the Toowoomba sauce. It's spicy enough that even as a cream pasta it never felt heavy, so I kept eating without slowing down. A pizza place that also nails pasta feels almost unfair, haha. Worth remembering as a pasta spot near Konkuk Station too.

Signature half-and-half pizza, 18,900 won
Finally, the star of the day! For the signature half-and-half pizza I went with cream mushroom bacon and pepperoni bolognese. I debated just ordering one flavor, but going half-and-half was definitely the right call, haha. It came out fresh with the cheese still bubbling. I liked that at Pizza E Michida Konkuk University Branch, even two people with different tastes can split a pizza and each get what they want.

The moment I lifted a slice, the cheese stretched out forever ❤️ Pizza really does need to be eaten at the restaurant, haha. The cream mushroom bacon was soft and savory with the mushroom flavor coming through, while the pepperoni bolognese had a stronger flavor, with the deep tomato sauce paired with the saltiness of pepperoni. Alternating between the two meant I never got tired of it even after finishing the whole pie. So if you like half-and-half options while hunting for pizza near Konkuk Station, this one should suit you especially well.

How good is the scallion bacon cream cheese dip?
The sauce we chose to go with the pizza was the scallion bacon cream cheese dip! At first I worried that cream cheese with pizza might be too rich, but the scallion subtly cut through the richness. Dipping the crust all the way to the end in the sauce was delicious. If you visit Pizza E Michida Konkuk University Branch, be sure to try the dipping sauce too :)

Final verdict: who should visit Pizza E Michida in Konkuk?
Thanks for a great meal today :) From pizza to pasta to fries, no single dish stole the show — everything was solidly good across the board. What stuck with me most was the stretchy cheese on the freshly baked pizza and the slightly spicy truffle Toowoomba combo.
Prices are reasonable for sharing a variety of dishes with a group, and with outdoor tables plus a spacious interior, it looked like a good spot for dates, friend meetups, or group meals. If you're craving freshly baked pizza in Konkuk or looking for a place to enjoy pizza and pasta together, I'd recommend Pizza E Michida Konkuk University Branch 💕 I'd love to come back and try a different half-and-half combo next time :)
