Hongdae café with salted cream milk tea and peach soufflé: Think Fruit
In short
Think Fruit is a fruit dessert café in an alley off Wausan-ro 29-gil near Hongik University Station in Mapo, Seoul. After a meal nearby, the writer ordered the peach soufflé at 22,000 won with a salted cream milk tea at 7,500 won and an iced Americano at 5,500 won, mixing the Greek yogurt, cream and ice cream packed inside the whole peach. Alternating the sweet soufflé with the salty milk tea and the clean Americano kept Think Fruit's dessert from feeling heavy to the last bite.

Craving fruit dessert in Hongdae? Think Fruit
After a good meal in Hongdae, sometimes you just want something sweet after, right? This time I was curious about fruit-based desserts, so I stopped by Think Fruit.
A peach menu item caught my eye right away, so I went with the peach soufflé, plus a salted cream milk tea and an iced Americano to drink. The visuals looked pretty and I was curious about the taste too, so I took my time enjoying everything. In today's review I'll go through the taste and the vibe of the space in detail.

What is Think Fruit like inside?

The space had a cozy, compact and clean feel.

It felt comfortable enough to sit and enjoy dessert and drinks while chatting, and easygoing enough to duck into for a quick break during a Hongdae date.

Best of all, the dessert I ordered came out looking so pretty that it was fun just taking photos of it.
Think Fruit menu and what we paid

Think Fruit sells fruit-based soufflés and parfaits, along with a variety of drinks including coffee, milk tea, lattes, ades and teas. On this visit we ordered
- Peach soufflé ₩22,000
- Salted cream milk tea ₩7,500
- Iced Americano ₩5,500
That's what we went with.
How does the 22,000 won peach souffle taste?

The dish I was looking forward to most that day was of course the peach soufflé! A whole peach sitting on top of a fluffy soufflé caught the eye right from the start.

Cutting the peach in half revealed thick, rich Greek yogurt packed inside.

Eating the peach together with the Greek yogurt gave a tangy yet nutty flavor.

Cutting into the soufflé with a fork, I first noticed a soft, fluffy texture, and eating it together with the peach added a sweet, refreshing note.

Adding the cream made it even softer, and eating it together with the ice cream made it cool and sweet, offering yet another flavor to enjoy.

Even though it's a sweet dessert, the peach and Greek yogurt kept the flavor from feeling too heavy, and with so many combinations to try, it never got tiring to the last bite.
Does the 7,500 won salted cream milk tea suit the souffle?

The salted cream milk tea is a drink with soft cream layered on top of a sweet milk tea with a subtle saltiness.

It's not the kind that only tastes strongly sweet — the faint saltiness made it pair well with the soufflé. If you like milk tea, I'd recommend ordering it alongside a dessert.
Pairing the souffle with a 5,500 won iced Americano

Sweet desserts call for an iced Americano, of course. Since the soufflé and milk tea were both on the sweeter side, taking a sip here and there kept my palate clean in between.

If you want your dessert sweet and your drink clean, I'd recommend the Americano combo.
