Hwaseong nail salon for broken nail repair and olive art: Green Nail
In short
Green Nail is an appointment-only nail salon in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi. After a nail broke following a manicure in Vietnam, I had it carefully repaired and chose the monthly art design in white and olive. Green Nail’s sturdy, detailed finish was a total success.

The Hwaseong nail salon I found in a hurry: Green Nail
I got nail art done in Vietnam a little while ago, but then one of my nails suddenly broke, so I had to urgently look for a nail salon. That is how I ended up at Green Nail. Even though I made a last-minute appointment, the owner carefully checked the condition of my nails first and gave me a sturdy manicure, so I was completely satisfied with the result.

Green Nail, which I visited this time, is located in Dongtan. I found it in a rush after my nail suddenly broke, so it was my first visit, but I loved the result so much that I think it will come to mind whenever I get my nails done in Dongtan from now on.
Green Nail appointments and salon atmosphere

Green Nail is an appointment-only nail salon, so I made a reservation and arrived at my scheduled time. Since I came right on time, I could settle in and start the treatment straight away.
I booked with designer Yunjin, and she was so kind and meticulous. Seriously, I was beyond satisfied..!!

When I stepped inside, the salon was neat and well maintained overall. Nail appointments involve sitting for longer than you might expect, so I quietly think the atmosphere matters too, but as I chatted about this and that with the owner,

the time flew by. She was kind and the conversation was fun, so I could relax even though it was my first visit.

Can you change the colors of the monthly art?

I debated what design to get this time, then chose one from the monthly art options. I thought monthly art had to be done exactly as shown, but I was told that after choosing a design I liked, I could change the colors too.

After some thought, I went with a white-and-olive combination. She was also great at suggesting pretty color pairings, which made the decision easy. If you like a design but are unsure about its colors, I think it would be nice to describe the look you want and ask for a recommendation.
Basic price list and review event

This is Green Nail’s basic price list. The prices seemed average compared with nail salons overall, and there is also a discount event for Naver reviews, so I definitely recommend joining in.
Broken nail care and a square shape

Honestly, the biggest reason I urgently searched for a nail salon in Dongtan this time was that broken nail. I came back after getting nail art in Vietnam, but one nail had broken, and I wanted to get it done quickly before it was damaged further.

The owner carefully examined my nails and tended to each one in detail. In particular, she did not just gloss over the broken part; she secured it firmly, which I really liked.

Because I arrived with a broken nail, I was most worried about how well the manicure would last, but she made it sturdy, which put me at ease. I was especially satisfied with how carefully she shaped the broken nail into a square.
White-and-olive gel nails, complete

Here are the finished nails at last. The white-and-olive combination I chose suited each other even better than I expected. The white made the overall look clean, while the olive added an accent, so it was not too plain and looked just right.

Keeping the monthly art design intact but changing only the colors to suit my taste made me like it so much more. I spent a lot of time debating the colors too, but Yunjin helped me, so it was very easy.

She carefully checked the nail shapes and finishing touches and made everything sturdy overall, so I kept looking at my finished hands, haha.
A satisfying Dongtan nail visit, even in a hurry
I searched in a rush and visited because of my broken nail, but Green Nail was truly satisfying in the end. The owner was kind, of course, and gave me a detailed treatment suited to the condition of my nails, so I was comfortable from start to finish.
I could also change the monthly art colors to white and olive to match my taste, and I loved the finished design. She gave great recommendations when I was debating colors and designs, and our conversation during the appointment was fun, so I left with my nails done in a great mood. If you are looking for a Dongtan nail salon that works carefully, I recommend trying Green Nail’s monthly art.
