A cozy nail salon in Hongdae’s busy district

Before going on vacation, I visited Byuazeu Hongdae Nail to get my nails done and get myself in the mood. Byuazeu Hongdae Nail, Lashes & Skincare offers both nail art and lash lifts, and specializes in gel nails, monthly art, wedding nails, nail extensions, and artificial nail extensions.

It is in the busy Hongdae area, so I think it would be easy to reach by public transport. I drove and parked at a nearby public parking lot.

There was a waiting area as soon as I entered, so I could wait comfortably. Drinks were prepared as well, which was nice.

Right beside it was the nail area, with the pedicure area behind it, plus products in all sorts of colors to the side. It is compact and cozy.

So much nail art, I changed my design

One wall was filled with so many different nail tips and monthly art designs. Thinking that they made all of these themselves, I was really impressed.

When I booked, I had found a design I wanted and showed it to them. But once I arrived, there were so many pretty designs that I asked if I could change it and chose one from the display instead, haha. That is how varied and lovely the art options were.

The pedicure zone looked cozy too. The pedicure art included lots of fresh-looking and cute options.

Basic care with advice for my nail-tone concern

My damaged nails before the appointment... I prefer longer nails and wanted to choose the shape I liked, so I had grown them out, but they looked messyㅠㅠ I wanted to get them cared for right away.

They started with basic care. We decided on the length and shape together, and they looked after everything so kindly. Even the basic care was meticulous and delicate, so there was not a single painful or uncomfortable moment.

My nails have a slightly yellowish cast, so whenever I wore a sheer color, my nails stood out and it was always a concern. When I mentioned it, they applied another color underneath and evened out the tone for me.

Ribbon charms are big and heavy, so they painted the ribbons by hand instead. Honestly, I found the hand-painted version cuter than the charms and liked it even more!! They drew the tiny details so well.

Isn’t the finished set so pretty? I asked for something that felt halfway between vacation and the coming autumn, and I am so happy with how it turned out.

They checked with me throughout about the colors and art and worked so carefully, while we even had a cozy little chat. I do not think it took even an hour in total. Their hands are seriously fast ㅠ.ㅠ It finished earlier than I expected, which made me even happier~

Looking through the art options, there were many designs from ₩49,000 to ₩89,000, but monthly art starting at ₩49,000 in Hongdae seems like such good-value nails. They also offer a ₩5,000 discount through the review event, so give it a try.

For an affordable, good-value nail appointment in Hongdae, they were so kind and detail-oriented that I think I understand why Byuazeu has a 90% return-visit rate~
