Why I went to Onyu Lash in Dongtan for lashes that droop even after curling

When I do my makeup, the part I put the most effort into is definitely my lashes! Now that I’m in my thirties… no matter how diligently I curl them with an eyelash curler, they drop so quickly when it’s humid or even after a little time has passed. So stressful.....

Then I discovered the whole new world of lash lifts! I’ve been getting them regularly for about four years now, and I finally found a place that is completely to my taste! I made an appointment at Onyu Lash, a Dongtan lash-lift specialist that already has such great word of mouth, and went in!

The first thing I noticed was the clean, cozy interior throughout the shop.

The warm space and the visibly hygienic care made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in hehe.

The owner welcomed me so kindly, and we started the consultation in a great mood. I always, absolutely, want them lifted close to the max!!!!! But if you go somewhere that isn’t good, they make “close” mean an L shape... I don’t mean a close lift with sharp anglesㅠ0ㅠ I mean close to the lid in a C shape!!!

When my lashes turned into L-shaped lashes, I spent a truly bewildering month... hahaha. My friends even teased me.

A comfortable lash lift without eye stinging

First, my hopeless lashes before the lift... I rushed in two days before my trip to Japan. Hoping so badly that it would turn out well..!!! Right up until I lay down and closed my eyes, I kept telling the owner that I liked a style lifted close to the max.. hahaha.

Interestingly, there was a cushion at my feet too, and I wondered what it was for—there was a cushion to comfortably rest my feet on. I was genuinely comfortable the entire time. I may have actually passed out a little.

At other places, the tape can make the skin around my eyes feel pulled, and sometimes my eyes sting. But at Onyu Lash, there was no eye stinging or skin irritation, so it was really comfortable. The owner’s touch was incredibly thorough and delicate too.

Once everything was finished, I finally looked in the mirror and seriously, seriously loved it so much that I gasped. There wasn’t a single bent spot: my lashes were lifted cleanly, naturally, and beautifully from the roots, close to the lid! My eyes looked so much more defined and lively!!

It felt like my eyes looked 1.5 times bigger. I have the wonderfully easy kind of eyes where, as long as my lashes are lifted well, I don’t need eye makeup—so my morning makeup time is cut by 10 minutes for the time being!!!!

After the lift, the owner gives you a pretty little card like this. The back has aftercare instructions and a discount for your next visit!!! And she also gave me an incredibly cute Hello Kitty brush!

Curls that stayed neat even after one week

It has now been a week since my lash lift, and the curls haven’t become messy at all—they are still holding their original shape so beautifully! I no longer have to wrestle with an eyelash curler or mascara every morning, so getting ready to go out takes much less time. I also feel more confident going out bare-faced, so I’m very satisfied. Thanks to this, I took lots of photos throughout my Japan trip.

I also looked up reviews over and over before visiting, and after getting it done myself, I understood why everyone recommends Onyu Lash as a great place for lash lifts in Dongtan. When it’s time for another lift, I’m absolutely going back to Onyu Lash in Dongtan from now on!! Truly satisfied—five stars, bam.
