Inside Something About Coffee: interiors and seating on each floor
What surprised me most on my first visit was that it's a three-floor building. Every floor was packed with customers, and I could tell right away it was already famous as a spot with great vibes.

Each floor had a beautiful atmosphere and interior, and the space was wide enough to chat comfortably with a friend. The lighting was dim, so I felt it was perfect for a blind date haha.
Fruit sando and cheesecakes: the dessert and drink menu at Something About Coffee
Another great thing about Something About Coffee is the amazing dessert lineup waiting for you. It was full of bakery items, trendy fruit sando (fruit sandwiches), and cakes in all sorts of flavors.

It was full of financiers, egg tarts, and various scones. I had a hard time deciding what would be tastiest haha.

The fruit sando I've been really into lately was also packed with fruit perfect for summer.

Along with the sando, there was a huge variety of cheesecakes. Walnut dried persimmon cheesecake, peach cheesecake, black sesame fig cheesecake, yellow cheese cheesecake, choco fudge cheesecake, fresh blueberry cheesecake, and more. I really wanted to try one of each haha.

There were also plenty of drink options beyond the bakery items. Turns out cream-based drinks are the signature!
Honest taste review: black sesame fig cheesecake and matcha cream choco latte
We ordered a matcha cream choco latte, a café latte, black sesame fig cheesecake, and a choco financier!

Already blown away by the visuals. Glancing around at other tables, the cakes were so eye-catching that every single table had one.

This was my first time seeing black sesame fig cheesecake! With so many cheesecake flavors to choose from, I ended up picking the fig cake since figs are in season in summer haha. The unique black sesame flavor paired really well with the soft cheese. And at the finish, the sweet fig jam balanced out the black sesame cream, which could otherwise feel heavy. Also, I'm a financier lover, and this one was crispy yet moist — really delicious. A little saltiness paired perfectly with the chocolate.

And there was so much fig inside haha. It just kept coming. The cheese was so soft that I decided a cake is a must whenever you visit Something About Coffee.

The matcha cream was really rich and smooth, so I'd recommend it to anyone trying matcha for the first time. The soft matcha and sweet chocolate latte blended together so well that I kept sipping slowly to savor it haha. The cream was so smooth I understood right away why it's the signature menu.
