I was looking for good desserts near Gongdeok Station and ended up at Fluffy Bake Shop :) It's inside the Gongdeok SK Leaders View building, so it's easy to find from the station! It's a small bakeshop, but it has such a wide range of baked goods — madeleines, financiers, canelés!!

You can also eat in-store

There are clean tables set up inside so you can enjoy pastries with coffee 〰️ The sunlight comes in so beautifully — it'd be lovely to have a coffee and a pastry here on a relaxed afternoon.

I fell for the canelés — turns out other reviewers say they're really good too!!??

So many madeleine flavors

I've never seen a place with this many madeleine flavors before... I've seen places with lots of financier flavors, but if my daughter had come with me my wallet would've been wiped out haha.

The savory smell of the salt bread was wafting out too, and I really wanted to eat it.

The gamtae financier from 'Amazing Saturday'

And you can't talk about Fluffy Bake Shop without mentioning the gamtae (roasted seaweed) financier! I couldn't pack one on my visit, but since it's the item featured on the variety show 'Amazing Saturday,' I was even more curious about it. The salty, savory flavor unique to gamtae apparently pairs really well with the financier, making it a popular pick especially for people looking for something a bit different from a regular financier hahaha!

The hwangchi cheese madeleine and carrot madeleine were so cute. There was no way I could not buy them haha.

As a financier lover, I ate one when I got home and immediately regretted not buying more...
