Weekend all-you-can-eat dakgalbi with family at Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi

In short

Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi is an all-you-can-eat dakgalbi (grilled chicken) restaurant near Guro Digital Complex Station in Seoul, formerly known as Sagyejinmi Sutbul Dakgalbi before it expanded its menu with pork belly and side dishes. A weekend evening visit brought a 2-hour adult pass for ₩20,500 covering salt dakgalbi, chicken neck meat, pork ribs and gochujang dakgalbi, plus self-made tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and fried rice. The whole floor is used for seating and the staff were so friendly that it works well for both office dinners and family or friend gatherings.

I went to Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi, famous near Guro Digital Complex Station for its all-you-can-eat dakgalbi (grilled marinated chicken)!! It used to be Sagyejinmi Dakgalbi, but they recently changed the name after adding pork belly and more side dishes.

Even though I visited on a weekend, there were quite a lot of customers, and the place was spacious enough for groups. Most of all, the staff were so friendly that I had a really pleasant meal 💕

A 2-hour free pass with 7 kinds of meat plus chicken

The main menu at Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi is the 2-hour free pass!! It was ₩20,500 for adults, and covered 7 kinds of meat, 2 kinds of chicken, drinks, and even fried rice. If you also want alcohol, you can add the 2-hour soju and draft beer pass for ₩9,900!!

These days, ordering a few servings of meat plus sides at a Korean BBQ place can easily run ₩30,000–40,000 per person, so being able to eat as much as you want of several kinds for just over ₩20,000 is such a great deal!!

The weekend evening atmosphere and seating

The interior is really spacious too. Since they use an entire floor I couldn't get a photo of it all, but there's a very long table that can seat around 20 people, meant for group dinners,

Spacious restaurant interior taking up an entire floor

and the spacing between tables wasn't cramped either. It's famous as a go-to spot for office dinners in Guro Digital Complex, but I visited on a weekend haha. There were a lot of guys who seemed to be there with friends, plus some families with kids.

You'd usually imagine all-you-can-eat places to be chaotic and crowded, but this place is so spacious that even with a lot of customers, it didn't feel that hectic.

The self-bar: meat, side dishes, chicken, instant tteokbokki

You take as much meat as you want yourself from the self-bar.

I thought it would just be dakgalbi, but there were way more varieties than I expected? There was pork ribs and pork belly too! I wanted to try everything, so instead of grabbing a lot at once, I brought small portions and tried them one by one haha.

A plate with small portions of various meats

Not just meat — side dishes to eat alongside it were also prepared at the self-bar.

And on one side of the self-bar there was even chicken…!! (🍗) They also had tteokbokki (spicy rice cake) ingredients and broth set up so you can make it yourself to your taste. You put rice cakes, fish cakes, and vegetables as you like into a pot, pour in the broth, add sauce, and boil it.

There were also fried rice, rice noodle, and rice ball ingredients. Everyone knows that after eating meat you absolutely have to finish with fried rice, the true Korean dessert, right? Hahaha. The fried rice was especially delicious. Make sure to try it 💖

Alcohol all-you-can-eat for ₩9,900: soju and draft beer

With just ₩9,900 per person for the alcohol all-you-can-eat, all the soju and beer here is unlimited…!!

The draft beer with a rich head of foam was so good hahaha. Even just two glasses per person is worth the price of the all-you-can-eat 👍

From salt dakgalbi to chicken neck meat and pork ribs

I grabbed plenty of lettuce wraps, salad, and side dishes,

A generous plate of lettuce wraps and side dishes

and the first round started with salt dakgalbi…!!

Salt dakgalbi on the grill

As soon as the meat hit the grill it started sizzling right away — freshly grilled meat is always the best.

Can you see how crispy the outside got? So good hahaha. Crispy enough that you don't even need batter!!

Chicken skin grilled golden brown

Chicken really needs to have its skin grilled golden brown. Crispy outside, moist inside — I told myself not to overdo it on the first round, but I overdid it anyway 😭

The first fully grilled round of dakgalbi

Second was the grilled chicken neck meat!! Do you like chicken neck meat? It's a bit chewy with a cartilage-like bite, a really tasty part…!!

And third was pork ribs and gochujang (red chili paste) dakgalbi!!

If it had just been dakgalbi the whole time, I think I would've gotten a bit tired of it partway through, but being able to alternate with pork belly, pork ribs, chicken neck meat and more meant I ended up eating way too much, oink oink 🐷

Finishing with bean-sprout-loaded fried rice

Finally, loading up on bean sprouts and making the Korean dessert — fried rice!! For just over ₩20,000, you get dakgalbi plus pork belly, pork ribs, and more kinds of meat, along with chicken, instant tteokbokki, and fried rice!!

Absurd value for money, plus the advantage that even if everyone in your group has different tastes, there's plenty to eat 💕 A day I finally understood why it's known as a go-to spot for office dinners in Guro Digital Complex.

There was even a couple event

They even do an event for couples hahaha. Sauce and tortillas easy to eat taco-style… and then

ta-da hahaha, even a proposal ring hahaha. It was so much fun.

Tortillas and sauce received as part of a couple event

Since it's a self-bar system, I thought I wouldn't run into the staff much, but whenever I needed to ask something while using it, everyone responded so kindly that I had a really pleasant meal.

They also run various events at the restaurant, so it feels less like just a cheap all-you-can-eat place and more like they put real effort into making it fun for customers. I hope Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi does even better 🔥 I recommend it as a go-to Guro Digital Complex spot and office dinner venue!!
