Hello!! Fall is back~~ Isn't the sky so clear and the weather so nice these days? haha I already have my wedding photo shoot next month! I'm just starting to prepare bit by bit, and the first thing that came to mind was my ears, which are currently closed up.

The price list!! Last November my right earlobe tore and I had earlobe repair surgery. My earring kept catching on my hair and clothes and it stung a little, but I ignored it and kept going... eventually the flesh kept tearing slowly until it couldn't hold anymore and split into two lol.

They said I could get it pierced again half a year after surgery, but I kept feeling something hard at the surgery site. I figured it would go away eventually... and suddenly 10 months had passed! With wedding photos and earrings needed next month, I got worried and visited the plastic surgery clinic where I had the surgery — they said it was normal, apparently that's just how it is haha. They gave me the go-ahead to pierce, so I came straight here to get it done.

Thinking about getting pierced again after so long made me both excited and a little nervous. I had no idea where nearby did ear piercing, so I was glad to find such an easily accessible place in Jamsil.

Everyone told me not to pierce my earlobe again and to get a piercing somewhere else on my ear instead, but piercings really aren't my style... I just wanted it on my earlobe~~ Still, looking at the photos, they looked pretty!!

When I told the owner I was there, they said to pick out an earring first, comfortably! Since I have allergies, they let me choose between silver and gold. It was nice being able to take my time and choose freely and comfortably!!

There were so many kinds, right? hahaha

Besides earrings, they also had rings, necklaces, and various other accessories. Browsing through everything one by one, time really flies. I agonized hard over what to buy...

When I said I couldn't decide, my boyfriend picked one out for me — and oh!!! It was so pretty. So I decided right away haha. It was silver and ₩30,000! The price range seemed pretty varied~~

Finally!! Time to get pierced... The owner looked at everything really carefully. I was kind of a tricky case — my left ear was on the verge of tearing, my right had already torn and had surgery, so the surgery site had to be avoided. They pierced it slightly higher than the original position, matching the symmetry well!! Just a slight sting and it's done~~~

At the time it throbbed a bit and looked red, but it calmed down within a few hours~~

Aftercare after getting pierced

The owner gave me aftercare instructions too! Need to be really careful not to bump it, and not to take the earring out for a while!! Drying it with cool air after washing seems really important too. It says to carefully apply antibiotic ointment. Annoying, but I guess I have to do it, right? haha I've kept it up fine with no issues so far. I'm very, very satisfied~~

It's been so long since I've worn earrings... I'm so excited!!!! This time, I'm determined to take good care of it so my ear doesn't tear again lolololol
