I often go to piercing shops when I need a change of mood. Even just swapping in a pretty piercing makes me feel refreshed! This time, I visited Simkung Piercing Jamsil in the Jamsil Station underground shopping arcade. It is a piercing and accessories specialty shop that immediately catches your eye with its trendy, clean interior!

Where is Simkung Piercing Jamsil?

It is in units F-18 and 19 of the Jamsil Underground Shopping Center on Subway Line 2. For an easy landmark, look for the Juni & alley opposite Paris Baguette.

First, get off at Jamsil Station on Subway Line 2 and head toward Exit 5. Walk straight for about 115 m in that direction. You will see Paris Baguette, then take a quick look into the Juni & alley opposite it. If you spot the storefront blending pretty white and pink tones, you have arrived!

It is underground, but if you use Naver Map or another directions app, you can get there really easily without getting lost. Definitely keep that in mind before you go.

Café-like interior and a wide product selection

Step inside and a cozy, sophisticated space opens right up. Luxurious terrazzo-pattern walls, pink display cabinets with gold handles, and soft lighting all come together for a comfortable, almost café-like feel.

A large gold neon ear-shaped sign on the wall was an especially stylish detail. It intuitively shows the names of the different placements while really bringing out the shop's identity.

The large slanted display in the middle of the shop is neatly arranged with hundreds of colorful piercing designs. There are also plenty of safer materials that can ease worries about allergy reactions, including 14K gold, silver, surgical steel, and titanium, so you can choose carefully for your own sensitivities and taste.

Beyond piercings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, and other easy everyday accessories are neatly displayed in a separate area. Soft music plays from a Marshall speaker, and there is even a pleasant waiting area with an octagonal gold full-length mirror for checking your styling after the procedure, plus cute character dolls.

If you cannot decide, there is a portfolio binder full of real procedure examples and design combinations, so you can use it as a great visual guide! With so many products at reasonable prices in a clean, hygienic setting, this is a seriously recommendable beauty space.

My inner conch cubic flower piercing change

I also went for a new piercing change as a little mood lift at this pink-interior piercing shop in the Jamsil Station underground arcade. I was happily agonizing over what to choose among all the piercings on display when a kind staff member came over and carefully looked at both my usual style and the shape of my ear.
