I was craving good shrimp pasta and went searching, which led me to Mano di Chef Jamsil Branch, a bisque pasta spot in Jamsil. I met up with a friend for a free Friday — good food, a coffee after, and some department store shopping. Such a relaxing day, I loved it!

Mano di Chef Jamsil Branch is close to Jamsil Station and has 2 hours of parking, so it's really accessible. If you're looking for pizza, pasta, or steak at an Italian restaurant, this place is great :)

They say the name Mano refers to the hands of a chef who's been in charge of delicious Italian cooking. I'd wanted to visit this well-known Italian restaurant, Mano di Chef, for a while, and since it has parking and is known for bisque pasta, I finally went. Reservations are possible through Naver, Catch Table, or by phone. The private room fits from 8 up to 100 people, so if you're looking for a group venue or a dinner spot near Jamsil Station, this Italian place is quite good!!!

They also offer free wine corkage, so it's worth checking. This is a Jamsil Blue Ribbon-listed spot, a Jamsil pasta favorite, and one of the go-to restaurants at Tower730 Jamsil. It seems like a lot of office workers in the area come here for lunch or dinner :)

Atmosphere and seating

Wow, the atmosphere is really nice. There's group seating and the individual tables are spacious with an open layout, which I loved!

✔️ Red shrimp bisque linguine. This is the dish I wanted to order the moment I saw the menu. Bisque pasta is pasta with a bisque sauce base made using the shells and heads of crustaceans (shrimp). This is exactly the thick, rich pasta I'd been craving!!!!

A bisque sauce packed with the deep, mellow flavor of crustaceans like shrimp and crab — you can really taste the richness in both the noodles and the seafood. The red shrimp bisque linguine is so good!!! A deep, rich bisque sauce brewed from red shrimp, generously topped with wild-caught red shrimp. One bite and you can clearly taste the umami seeping out of the shrimp. Definitely the signature dish at Mano di Chef Jamsil Branch :)

Enjoying the steak alongside the distinctive black dough pizza was a perfect pairing. The melted cheese, romaine, and cherry tomatoes on top went well with the pasta, and above all, the crispness of the dough stood out.
