Yeouido izakaya for after-work drinks and yakisoba: Nani
In short
Nani Yeouido Branch is a Japanese pub on the 3rd floor of the S-TRENUE Building near Yeouido Station in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. Stopping in right after work for a first round of Asahi draft beer, yakisoba, and shoyu suji jorim (soy-braised beef tendon stew), the yakisoba came with real yakisoba noodles and plenty of pork, while the suji jorim had good texture and just the right seasoning. With 2 hours of parking and curtained room seating, it's an easy Yeouido bar to keep coming back to.

Today I want to introduce a bar with really nice vibes — and in Yeouido, where parking is such a pain, this place actually lets you park for 2 hours, plus the izakaya atmosphere is great, so it's somewhere I've gone back to. This is Nani, a Yeouido izakaya.
Nani Yeouido Branch

An izakaya with easy parking in Yeouido, 3rd floor of the S-TRENUE Building
Nani Yeouido Branch is located on the 3rd floor of the S-TRENUE Building. I actually go to the dermatology clinic in this same building, so I'm quite familiar with it haha. Even when parking is technically available in Yeouido, the spots are often so tight that it's a real struggle if you're a beginner driver. But this building has a spacious lot and parking here is never a hassle.

First round right after work — the vibe gets better later
We came straight from work so it was still pretty bright inside haha. I think most people probably come here for a second round. It's an izakaya after all, so the later it gets and the darker it is, the better the atmosphere — I'd recommend visiting a bit later! There's a room with curtains you can pull closed, so it's a good spot for a quiet drink.

Banchan and Asahi draft beer, then picking the menu
The banchan (side dishes) here are miyeok julgi (seaweed stem) and gunppang (hardtack crackers). I went with an Asahi draft beer~ Nani Yeouido Branch has a really, really huge menu lol. There were so many options I had trouble deciding, and ended up ordering the yakisoba and shoyu suji jorim.

The yakisoba is made with real yakisoba noodles
I'd read reviews of Nani Yeouido Branch saying the yakisoba was really good, so I decided to try it — and it really was delicious haha. I've been let down more than once ordering yakisoba somewhere only to get udon noodles stir-fried instead, so I was happy that Nani Yeouido Branch used genuine yakisoba noodles. The portion was huge too, enough to fill you up even as a first-round dish.

Shoyu suji jorim — eating beef tendon until you're stuffed
This is the shoyu suji jorim (soy-braised beef tendon stew) at Nani Yeouido Branch. Anyone else love suji (beef tendon)? I really love this texture, and since suji itself tends to be on the pricier side, I've never really gotten to eat as much as I wanted — so this time I ordered the suji jorim as the main dish and ate it until I was full.

What I loved most about Nani Yeouido Branch's suji jorim was that the tendon texture wasn't too mushy or too chewy. The seasoning wasn't too strong either, so it never felt overpowering! There's plenty of vegetables and mushrooms mixed in too, so honestly it's basically health food.

Have a bite of mushroom haha

The yakisoba at Nani Yeouido Branch comes with pork mixed in, and there's quite a lot of it! I kept picking pieces out and there was always more, which made me pretty happy.

If it's your second round, the nabe (hot pot) is worth trying too
I've been to Nani Yeouido Branch before and ordered the curry nabe, and I remember being really satisfied that time too haha. This time we came for a first round as more of a dinner, but if you're coming for a second round, the nabe options are solid too.

Looking at this suji again makes me want to eat it all over again..! In so many ways Nani Yeouido Branch is a satisfying spot, which is why it's become a Yeouido bar I visit often. Parking is easy and the atmosphere is great, so if you're looking for a bar in Yeouido, I'd say it's worth checking out.
