What is TAGE Indoor Camping Hongdae Main Branch?

TAGE is the only indoor hangout spot in Hongdae where you can bring in takeout and delivery food to eat. It's 650m from Hongik Univ. Station Exit 9, and it's open 11:00–23:00.

The time slots are split into Slot 1 (11:00–14:00), Slot 2 (14:00–17:00), Slot 3 (17:00–19:00), and Slot 4 (19:00–23:00). I went around 7:30pm on a Friday!

TAGE is a bit different from a regular restaurant — it's an indoor camping spot. You can grill meat while soaking in the camping vibe, and during your time slot you're free to use the karaoke, board games, Nintendo, and classic games.

If you're looking for a weather-proof spot for a company workshop, an indoor outing, or a group dinner, this is a pretty appealing option.

How much is the table fee and corkage at TAGE?

The table fee is ₩40,000, and at some locations you might get a ₩10,000 discount!

What we ordered on a Friday evening

That day we ordered two servings of pork belly + yeollamyeon (spicy instant noodles) + fried rice + water!

If you're looking for a special get-together with friends in Hongdae, a rainy-day activity, or a Hongdae date with a twist, this place is perfect!!

Since we came to an indoor camping spot, meat first!! Two servings of raw pork belly, served with kimchi and lettuce.

Can you bring in takeout and delivery food?

Here, you're not limited to ordering from the store — you can also bring in takeout or delivery food to eat!

That said, if you bring your own meat, you need to prepare your own grill plate and butane gas separately, but the burner is apparently free to use~

Yeollamyeon (spicy instant noodles)

We also ordered yeollamyeon (spicy instant noodles). After eating meat, having hot noodle soup as a finisher was just right! Eating ramyeon along with the pork belly was way better than just meat alone — such a great combo~~

Looks delicious, right? I didn't expect much from the meat, but maybe because it was raw pork belly, it was seriously delicious.

Self-serve fried rice for about 7,000 won

And of course, fried rice to finish it off! The fried rice is self-serve, comes with spicy tuna, sesame oil, and instant rice, and cost around ₩7,000. We grabbed some kimchi from the self-serve bar and fried it together.

Free karaoke, Nintendo and board games

During our time slot, we could also enjoy board games, classic video games, and Nintendo games, including a shared Nintendo console. Another fun part of TAGE Indoor Camping is that karaoke is completely free! (It's not a fully separate room — it's more of an open-space karaoke setup.)

The vibe is so good lol. Grilling meat indoors while enjoying a camping-like atmosphere felt pretty unique!!

Being able to do so many different things in one space for a few hours made it feel much more active than a typical dinner date. Also, there are photo zones everywhere, so it's a great place to take a few hundred photos lol.
