I was looking for a café in Yeoksam where I could enjoy good coffee and dessert together, and ended up visiting Mini Male Coffee Roaster Yeoksam Branch.

It's a good spot for a quick coffee on the go, but also fine for settling in with a sweet dessert. More than anything, the coffee and dessert were better than expected, which is why this Yeoksam café stuck with me.
Where is Mini Male Coffee Roaster Yeoksam Branch, and what are its hours?
Mini Male Coffee Roaster Yeoksam Branch is located at 26 Teheran-ro 25-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

It sits in an easy-to-reach spot between Yeoksam Station and Gangnam Station, which makes it convenient for office workers nearby.
On weekdays it's a good place for nearby office workers to pop in for a quick coffee during lunch or a work break, and in the evening it's nice for a more relaxed cup. Hours run from 9 AM to 10 PM, so you can visit anywhere from morning coffee to late in the day.
Black interior and terrace seating at Mini Male
Walking in, the first thing I noticed was the overall clean, sleek atmosphere.

Rather than an elaborately decorated style, it was the fuss-free, tidy black interior that stood out. I personally love this kind of clean vibe, so I felt comfortable settling in.

It felt like a good place to sit alone with a cup of coffee, but also fine for chatting with a friend or meeting up casually.

There's also a separated, terrace-like space further inside, so the layout can be used in different ways. The mood probably shifts in the evening too, so I thought it could work well for a blind date or casual meetup in Yeoksam-dong.
Pick your beans: Dunkel, Balance, or Decaf
Mini Male Coffee Roaster has a wide range of coffee menu items, and you can also choose your beans.

There were three bean options — Dunkel, Balance, and Decaf. I like a nutty, heavy style, so I went with the Dunkel beans.

You order via kiosk, and it seemed like a lot of people use takeout or delivery too. This time, I decided to properly enjoy both the coffee and the dessert.
What we ordered: Helsinki latte, British Einspänner, Matilda Chocolat
- Helsinki latte
- British Affogato
- Matilda Chocolat
The signature Helsinki latte
First, I tried Mini Male's signature menu item, the Helsinki latte.

It's said to be based on a latte the owner enjoyed in Helsinki, Finland, and tasting it, I found the bitterness wasn't strong at all — it was smooth. There was a rich coffee presence while still going down easily, and it was an item I genuinely enjoyed drinking.

British Einspänner topped with British cream
The British Affogato is a specialty coffee topped generously with soft British cream.

The cream was sweet and paired well with the coffee, making it good to enjoy like a dessert. If you like sweet coffee, this one would be satisfying.

Matilda Chocolat, a dense chocolate cake
And for dessert, I ordered the Matilda Chocolat! It's a cake with rich chocolate sponge layered with dark chocolate ganache. One bite and I could really feel the moist yet dense texture.

It has a heaviness somewhere between a brownie and a chocolate cake, so I'd recommend it to anyone who loves chocolate desserts.
How well did the coffee and dessert pair?
Overall, the coffee and dessert combination was really good. The Helsinki latte's smooth flavor was especially appealing, and the British Affogato was easy to enjoy like a dessert thanks to its sweet cream.

The Matilda Chocolat had a rich, dense chocolate flavor that went really well with the coffee. This isn't just a café that looks pretty — the coffee and dessert were satisfying too, so this is a Yeoksam café I'd want to visit again next time I'm in the area.
Is Mini Male Yeoksam worth a visit?
Mini Male Coffee Roaster Yeoksam Branch let me enjoy tasty coffee and dessert in a clean black interior.

It's nice for quietly having coffee alone, and also fine for chatting with a friend over dessert. I especially liked the combination of the Helsinki latte and Matilda Chocolat.
If you're looking for a good-atmosphere café in Yeoksam or want to enjoy tasty coffee and dessert together, it's worth stopping by.
