It's a great spot to drop by while taking a beach stroll. It sits in a residential neighborhood like a scene from a painting!

It looks like a renovated house, and the calm, warm feeling was just ideal.

There was a small garden — and here, there's a genuinely adorable cat ㅠㅠ Seems like the café keeps it as their own! It looked like it had already been petted a lot by visitors because it was so friendly haha. Because of the cat, the place felt even more charming~~

Inside Deokmi Atelier Gwang-an Branch: the mood

Inside Deokmi Atelier felt like walking into a fairytale cottage! The combination of vintage wallpaper and wood tones was striking! The weather was really nice this day, so sunlight poured into the shop, filling the space with a cozy, warm feeling haha.

Throughout the shop there were elements true to the 'atelier' concept~ these created such a charming atmosphere!

Also, cake replicas were placed around like art pieces, which was fun to look at~

Honestly I didn't touch them, so I'm not sure they're replicas. They must be, right...? They looked so realistically delicious haha.

There was a brunch menu for a light meal~ and dessert items like sweet French toast and cake!

There was also a cake that changes by season!

At the time it was peach tiramisu~ and they said the peach season would soon end and fig tiramisu would come out next~~ There were coffee and drink options that go well with dessert too~ I liked that you could choose the coffee beans! The signature menu items were the Royal Vanilla Bean Latte and the Rose Thé Noir.

What we ordered at Deokmi Atelier, and how it tasted

What we ordered was: crème brûlée French toast, white peach tiramisu, an Americano (seasonal fruity beans), and rose thé noir. They made the toast fresh after the order came in, so we waited a bit~ and ta-da~~

Crème brûlée French toast

First up, the crème brûlée French toast!

This was so charming and so delicious! The toast was fluffy and soft and sweet — so tasty!

They pile a huge amount of cream on top of the already delicious toast, and the top of that cream is crème brûlée!! Ahh, the soft cream together with the crunchy caramelized sugar shards was so charming!! I'd already eaten before coming, but this was so tasty I finished the whole thing.

Seasonal white peach tiramisu, 12,000 won

And this is the seasonal peach tiramisu! Isn't the look so lovely~? The pink peach is so cute haha. But nearly a whole peach goes in, so the portion is quite substantial!!

The combination of the cream, bread, and peach inside was really good! It's so soft and moist, it just melts in your mouth... There's peach between the layers of bread too, so it's a peach party in your mouth. Dessert can't go without coffee, right?

Americano with Season Fruity beans

I chose the seasonal fruity beans! The bright acidity was striking! It paired especially well with the crème brûlée French toast! The bright acidity wrapped around the rich, sweet toast beautifully — it was really delicious~

Rose thé noir milk tea

This is the rose thé noir, a rose-scented milk tea! Doesn't the cup alone have serious presence? Very elegant.

The rose fragrance was genuinely strong!! It spreads through your whole mouth, and it's genuinely delicious... If you go to Deokmi Atelier, I really recommend this!! Without the usual astringency of milk tea, its subtle sweetness pairs well with the rose fragrance~~

The café's atmosphere was full of charm and all the food was so delicious, so we had a truly enjoyable time. On top of that, there was even a cat...! Total cheat code...! I'm already curious what seasonal menu will be next time I visit.
