What kind of ice cream shop is Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo Branch?
Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo Branch is a butter-based ice cream specialist using French 'Président butter'. Beurre Beurre ice cream is said to have a dense, thick richness with the flavor of butter, reaching up to 19% milk fat — a pretty high-end ice cream.
Clear, clean gelato flavors are trendy these days, but if you want a rich sweetness and that 'now THIS is ice cream!' feeling, go American-style. Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo Branch is that.

American vintage interior, down to the smallest prop
Definitely certain. American vintage down to every single prop.
This is an ice cream shop with a clear concept, having scoured the whole country for props that scream vintage mood. Full-on American vibes. Thick, rich, full of that real-ingredient feel. At the same time, powerful and exciting, full of vitality and fantasy. You can feel the uniqueness and energy that only America has, plus a lot of personality.

The store has a decent sense of space and there are 2 tables. No pressure to eat slowly and hang around. The double cup comes packed to about the size of a baseball — the visual is Instagram material too.

There are also menu items borrowing from Korean staples like rice or dasima (kelp). Since I usually go for the signature flavors, I hesitated over the kelp one but... hmm, today wasn't the day for a challenge. I went with the classic choices — orange*lemon and vanilla.
Where is Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo Branch, and what are the hours?
Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo Branch is on Konkuk Rodeo Street, 1 minute on foot from Exit 6 of Konkuk University Station. The location is unbeatable. Weekdays 11:30–22:30, weekends shortened by 30 minutes on each end. Hours that cover late-night ice cream cravings too.
Ordering, seating and the mood inside
Koreans love to embrace a new attempt when it appears.
There's also a nearby branch in Seongsu, and thanks to its clear concept, the brand is expanding nationwide. Using butter as a base must mean higher cost prices, but this shop has its own distinctive flavor — worth a visit if you're craving ice cream.

With its pop sensibility, this looks like the kind of dessert café students around Konkuk would love.

See the photos above for the cup and packaging. The ice cream gets scooped straight from the fridge case as soon as you order.

Genuinely feels like America.

They said there are a lot of foreign customers too. The kiosk supports English, Chinese, and Japanese. Cookies with an Americano would go great together! I should have ordered an Americano — it would have cut the sweetness nicely.

The fun part: the "whose pick" notes on the menu
On the Beurre Beurre menu board, each flavor has a note on who tends to pick it — it's fun to read.
- Foreigners go for the reliable peanut butter
- Women go for fruity sweetness
- Men go for cookie caramel
- Kids go for chocolate lol

Feels like buying one would quiet down a crying kid.

How do Oh!Lemonge and vanilla actually taste?
My Oh!Lemonge had a refreshing quality like drinking orange juice. I was already full but it went down smoothly. The vanilla was steady, comforting — top-tier ice cream. In a lively, joyful-feeling store, it's a treat that looks good and tastes rich and luxurious.
Final verdict: pair Beurre Beurre with a walk around Konkuk
If Beurre Beurre is nearby, why not grab one on a date, or walk the streets alone with a cup in hand. Next time, I want to try the kelp or rice ice cream! And after finishing it, you can apparently even ride a Ttareungyi bike across the Han River.

The bridge I crossed after refueling on sugar with ice cream. The weather was so nice. Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo Branch.
