Songpa, Seoul eyelash salon for soft flat lashes: Rose Lash

In short

Rose Lash is an eyelash salon in Songpa, Seoul, near Jamsilsaenae Station. I chose natural flat lashes in mixed 10 and 11 mm lengths with C and CC curls for eyes that looked defined yet softened toward the outer corners. Verdict: a comfortable, natural-looking extension that made mascara-free makeup quicker.

Introduction to Rose Lash eyelash extensions in Jamsil
Rose Lash eyelash extension information

I’m an office worker who wants even a few more minutes of sleep while getting ready every morning…🙋🏻♀️ So I keep getting lash extensions to cut down on makeup time, and my previous set had almost all fallen out, meaning it was about time for another one haha. Going comfortably without mascara and then having to apply it every day again? So annoying…^^ So this time, I went to Rose Lash (로제래쉬) for eyelash extensions!

It’s on the 5th floor at 21 Olympic-ro 12-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul. It is open Monday through Friday from 11:00 to 21:00 and Saturday from 11:00 to 17:00, and is regularly closed on Sundays. Nearby alternative parking includes Jamsil Parking, with a ₩2,000 base rate for 30 minutes, and Eunyoung Private Parking, with a ₩3,000 base rate for 30 minutes. Pets are allowed, too.

Getting to Rose Lash from Jamsilsaenae Station

Bare eyes before visiting for eyelash extensions

I washed up as soon as I got up and headed out first thing in the morning to get my lash extensions with a totally bare face hahaha. There were still a few lashes left from my last set, but almost all had fallen out, so my eyes were looking so bare🥹 Time to fill them back in~!

Directions from Jamsilsaenae Station to the salon

It takes about five minutes on foot from Jamsilsaenae Station! Walk into the alley and you’ll see a building with Baekeok Coffee on the left side of the first floor. There is also a Rose Lash sign on the building, so it was easy to find!

Take the elevator to the fifth floor, and Rose Lash is right there when you get off! It felt bright and tidy from the entrance✨ The owner gave me such a warm welcome when I went in, too haha.

When you come in, just take off your shoes and change into the indoor slippers. The slippers were all lined up by color haha. I picked the white pair.

Once inside, the salon was more spacious than I expected! A lot of lash salons are compact, but this one felt roomy and not at all cramped. Sunshine poured in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, so the whole place felt bright and fresh✨

There is also a waiting area on one side! I sat there briefly, and the sofa was softer than it looked haha. I was able to wait comfortably.

And there is a restroom inside the salon! Separate restrooms for men and women👍🏻 Is it just me who always needs the restroom after getting lashes done? haha These little details are surprisingly important…

While I was waiting and looking around, I spotted this👀 Rose Lash has two directors, and both of their cosmetology licenses were displayed. Seeing things like that somehow makes me trust a place more haha.

The price list was also displayed where it was easy to see, so I took a photo! It lists prices by type, from lash extensions to lash perms, so have a look👀 They also sell lash serum! Looking at the state of my lashes lately, I should probably buy serum first… but extensions first for now^^

And this salon doesn’t only do lashes—they also offer eyebrow and lip tattoos! The tattoo treatment space is separate like this, apart from the lash area.

And finally, here was my spot to lie down haha. The lash beds are divided here and there with curtains! I liked that they were not completely closed off and stuffy, and the light tones made everything look even cleaner. I love bright treatment spaces like this… they just somehow feel cleaner haha.

Natural flat-lash consultation and treatment

Consultation for flat-lash extensions

Before getting started, they first asked what kind of lashes I wanted! I said I wanted them to define my eyes without being too dramatic. They recommended flat lashes, saying they would suit my eye shape well. There was a choice between a natural and a more defined flat-lash style, so I chose the natural one! We decided on mixed 10 mm and 11 mm lengths with a combination of C and CC curls.

My eyes before the treatment! Oh wow, so plain…^^ Maybe I was already excited about getting lashes, because my eyes alone were sparkling hahaha.

Ta-da✨ My eyes definitely look more defined, right?! I wanted lashes that were natural but still had presence, and I love that they turned out well without looking overdone. My eyes did not sting during the treatment, and I was comfortable the whole time!

Before and after: a softer eye shape

Before-and-after comparison of eyelash extensions

The difference is easier to see comparing both eyes before and after, right? haha My natural eye shape is a little sharp, so I said I wanted a softer look rather than one that lifted too dramatically. They kept the front defined, then softened the line as it went toward the outer corners—it was exactly the look I wanted!

At the end, they gave me a lash brush and explained the care tips and precautions one by one so the extensions would last longer. I can brush them at home, so this little brush is actually quite useful haha.

Lash care brush and makeup the next day

And this was the next day! I put on makeup and went out, and because my eyes were already defined without mascara, my eye makeup was definitely finished much faster haha. Especially from the front, I loved that they did not look overly applied—slightly delicate, but also a little glamorous.

I absolutely loved this set of lash extensions, too! They recommended options that suited the look I wanted, and the result was natural without being too much, so I was happy! It was comfortable throughout the treatment with no stinging in my eyes, hehe.
