Hi everyone, this is Rujin!! I've been super busy lately so I haven't posted in a while haha. It's a sashimi restaurant in Yeonsu-dong that I go to often and once reviewed as a fully self-paid visit! I went back again with a discount to eat raw shrimp~~ let me introduce it 😊😊

Where is Veteran General Fish Market Incheon Yeonsu Branch, and when is it open?

Veteran General Fish Market Incheon Yeonsu Branch is at 106 Beotkkotro, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, Yeonsu Plaza 3rd floor, unit 202-1, South Korea, and it's open daily from 11:00 to 23:00 (last order 21:00). If you're taking the subway, use exits 1 or 4! It's really close to the station so it's super accessible haha.

Get off the 3rd-floor elevator and the entrance is right there on the left!!

Veteran General Fish Market Incheon Yeonsu Branch has plenty of tables set up all the way to the back, with the front kept as a separate dessert space.

They've kept the front area as a space where you can have ice cream or coffee haha. I thought it'd be nice to sit here and chat after your meal instead of going to a café~~

What three of us ordered at Veteran General Fish Market, and what it cost

At Veteran General Fish Market "Incheon Yeonsu Branch" they also sell gizzard shad sashimi (jeoneohoe), salt-grilled raw shrimp, and raw shrimp sashimi. When you want to try a bit of everything but worry the portions will be too much, being able to order the (mini) or (small) size alongside the sashimi was really great!! So the three of us ordered like this 🤭

The self-bar: free ramen noodles and unlimited kimchi pancake

This is a strength of Veteran General Fish Market!! A neatly organized self-bar!!! Ramen noodles are free to use, and kimchi pancake (kimchijeon) is unlimited and free too haha. The kimchi pancake was perfectly seasoned so I made it twice 😘

What comes in the 58,000-won couple's set for two

The couple's set has a generous variety of assorted sashimi, sushi, grilled fish, seaweed soup, fried corn cheese, spicy fish stew (maeuntang), and more!

How were the added raw shrimp and the assorted sashimi platter?

Finally, the raw shrimp sashimi and assorted sashimi we ordered separately!! So gorgeous ㅠㅠ I want to eat it again ㅠㅠ Peeling raw shrimp yourself is such a hassle, but here it comes already peeled, with flying fish roe and mayo sauce too — the best!! The assorted sashimi was fresh and really delicious haha.

First thing, I had a bite of raw shrimp sashimi with a glass of somaek (soju-beer mix) haha. Sweet, savory raw shrimp,, plus the butter-grilled shrimp — isn't that the best drinking snack~~?

Finishing with maeuntang (spicy fish stew), ramen noodles and ice cream

Once you're done eating, just say the word and they'll bring out the spicy fish stew (maeuntang)! It's spicy, refreshing, and such a great way to finish haha. I finished off the ramen noodles too, no leftovers ><

I forgot to take a photo of the ice cream but we had it to wrap up the meal!! Perfect for cleansing the palate 😊😊 This is the sashimi restaurant I go to often!
