I don't know why I've been craving burgers so much lately haha. Especially the rich American kind with a thick patty, cheese, and bacon piled on — sometimes that craving just hits hard. So this time I went to Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch, near Gyodae Station.
I'd known this place for a while as the spot with the bacon cheeseburger that Kang Min-kyung raved about, and I'd been wanting to try it — finally made it happen. Long story short: the burger itself was great, but eating it together with 18 Fries, corn salad, and wings made it feel like a proper full meal haha.
Where Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch is, and what the restaurant feels like
Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch sits between Gyodae Station and Seocho Station, so it was easy enough to find. It's within walking distance of Gyodae Station, making it a solid pick when you're searching for good eats near Gyodae Station.

Walking in, I got that comfortable, easygoing feel typical of American-style burger joints. It seemed like a good spot for solo dining, and equally nice for coming with friends or a partner.

The menu was more varied than I expected — different burgers, fries, wings, corn salad, and other sides, so there's plenty to choose from depending on your mood. Daily Fix is best known for things like the bacon cheeseburger and 18 Fries, but seeing the full lineup, it's clearly a great place to add sides when a burger alone won't cut it.
What to order at Daily Fix: bacon cheeseburger with the 18 Fries swap
What I ordered that day: the bacon cheeseburger!! And instead of the standard fries, I swapped in 18 Fries, plus a Pepsi.

On top of that I added corn salad and wings as sides. I wondered at first if it was too much, but once the food actually arrived, it looked totally manageable haha.
How is the bacon cheeseburger at Daily Fix?
The Daily Fix bacon cheeseburger finally arrived!! It looked every bit the thick, hand-made burger it promised to be. The patty in particular was so thick you could tell just by looking that this was a proper meat-forward burger.

And with bacon and cheese piled on top, there was no way it wouldn't taste good haha. First bite: rich meaty flavor from the patty, salty bacon, and nutty cheese all came through together.

The burger itself leans rich and well-seasoned rather than light, so pairing it with a Pepsi worked out perfectly. Somehow this kind of American-style burger just feels a little incomplete without a soda haha.

The bun was also great. Soft and well-suited to the thick patty, it tied the whole thing together. The bacon cheeseburger isn't just about the patty — it's the bun, patty, bacon, and cheese all working together, so with every bite the savory, salty flavor built up more and more.
Why the 18 Fries are worth the swap
And personally, my favorite part was the 18 Fries!!! Cut much thicker than your typical thin fries, and the texture difference was obvious. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, with the actual potato flavor coming through.

I kept alternating — grab a fry, take a bite of burger, repeat, haha. If you're a fan of thick-cut fries, I'd definitely recommend upgrading to 18 Fries. I think I'll order this again next time haha.
Daily Fix corn salad with smoky sauce

This time I also ordered the corn salad as a side. When you hear "corn salad" at a burger place, you usually picture the familiar sweet, mayo-based version, but Daily Fix's corn salad was a bit different. They said it's tossed in an American-style smoky sauce, Café Havana style.

The sweetness of the corn combined with the savory sauce, and it woke up my palate more than I expected. The burger itself is pretty rich overall, right, between the patty, bacon, and cheese?

So having the corn salad in between bites gave my mouth a bit of a reset — I was glad I ordered it. This kind of side goes really well alongside a burger haha.
Chicken wings at Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch

And of course, couldn't skip the chicken wings. A burger alone felt a little lacking, so I added one more side — and with the wings on the table too, things got pretty hearty haha.
The outside was fried crisp, the inside stayed juicy, and it worked well alternating with the burger. Wings are also easy to just pick up one at a time, so they'd be great for sharing if you come with a friend. If you like piling on side dishes while eating a burger, I'd recommend adding wings too.

If you're looking for a great American-style burger spot near Gyodae Station, I'd recommend Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch!! Hope this helps~~!
