So there's this place called Hekbap Kkachisan Branch. I'd been to another branch before and remembered the food being clean and tasty, so I decided to check out the Kkachisan location too. So excited!!

Where to park? Public parking at ₩50 per 5 minutes

There's public parking nearby, so I parked comfortably, and it was around ₩50 per 5 minutes — basically free!

The first thing you notice walking in is that it's a home-style rice bowl and ramen restaurant!

What caught my eye was that baby chairs were available! We ordered the zaru soba pork cutlet set and the pork cutlet curry rice set.

Zaru soba (chilled dipping soba) to cool you off in the hot summer, plus pork cutlet included as a set — it was such a satisfying combo that I really recommend ordering this if you visit Hekbap Kkachisan Branch.

The chewy, springy soba and the cool broth were hearty and delicious,

and the tteok (rice cake) side drizzled with what looked like honey sauce was a great palate cleanser for dessert.

How was the pork cutlet curry set?

My husband ordered the pork cutlet curry set — the cutlet was very thick, and especially when eaten with the curry poured right over the rice underneath, the seasoning was spot on. Even though it's a rice bowl, there was no need to mix anything; you just scooped it up with the cutlet on top and

it was perfect!! The pork cutlet curry rice bowl set came together with udon and fried chicken.
