Modak Texas Barbecue Dongdaegu Branch, a restaurant near Dongdaegu Station, was full of delicious-looking options. From a two-person tomahawk course to Texas and Memphis platters, spare ribs, pulled pork, and brisket, there were so many kinds of meat; there were also plenty of pasta and rice dishes, including shrimp squid-ink pasta, spicy beef brisket cream pasta, shrimp aglio e olio, spicy tomato shrimp pasta, and cheese garlic shrimp rice 👀 Since I was visiting alone,

The ghee-butter tenderloin steak and house wine I ordered for one

I simply ordered the 300g ghee-butter tenderloin steak and a glass of house wine 🐷 For someone like me who can demolish 1.5kg with Hojjogi, 300g is nothing,

Should I call it a basic bar snack? They served nachos and tomato sauce as an appetizer. The sauce here was so good..! 👀

They filled up the wine glass generously too, which I looooved ..💛

When I said the tomato sauce with the nachos was good, I saw that Modak also sells witch soup! No wonder I thought it was delicious 👀

At last, the ghee-butter tenderloin steak (₩75,000) appeared. First came a round of fire show 🔥 Then they poured on the ghee butter with a flourish and sprinkled on savory Maldon salt too ✨ How could it not be delicious..!

It arrived on a hot pan, so leave it on the pan if you want to cook it more; otherwise, take it off and eat it right away. A warm tenderloin steak sending up little clouds of steam.

With even cute smiley fries, Modak Texas Barbecue near Dongdaegu Station was such a weekend pick-me-up. I came alone and ordered one steak, but the platter sets looked good too, so for a visit with 2–4 people, a platter would probably be great in both price and portion! Seeing the fire show 🔥 and having a glass of wine was just so nice at Modak ..🤍
