Exotic arch interior
I heard Bueokgan Restaurant was designed with inspiration from Sweden’s Nationalmuseum. Waaahhh, maybe that’s why the interior has such a wonderfully old-world feel 👍🏻,,

With its high ceilings, softly curved arches, vintage furniture, and plants all working together, you can feel an exotic atmosphere even inside Yangsan Oslo Park?! ?!

The shrimp rosé pasta and pilaf we ordered
The menu included salads, pasta, pizza, risotto, pilaf, and more :) I spent ages deciding what to eat before we even started, because everything looked so delicious 🤤🤤

It actually wasn’t any kind of anniversary, but the staff were so kind and the tableware was so neat that I was in a good mood before we even ate!!!!!! I immediately ordered the shrimp rosé pasta, Kung Pao chicken pilaf, and sweet potato fries. They look appetizing, right???

Sweet potato fries, a great starter before the mains
First up, the sweet potato fries went absolutely perfectly with cola~! They felt like regular fries swapped for sweet potato, and they went surprisingly well with ketchup, making them easy to pick at before the mains arrived.

The inside was moist, and the soft, sweet flavor of the sweet potato kept me reaching for more. You really, really have to try them!!
Rich yet clean-tasting shrimp rosé pasta
I loved how the smooth, rich rosé sauce soaked deeply into the noodles of the shrimp rosé pasta. Pasta is all about twirling it around your fork, right??? The creamy, nutty sauce had a subtle tang from tomato, so it wasn’t heavy and tasted clean!

The sauce wasn’t overly rich either; its just-right tang kept me going back for more. There were plump, springy shrimp throughout, which added a nice bite, and the sauce coated the noodles well, so I could really taste that deep, generous rosé flavor!

The noodles were cooked just right for a crowd-pleasing taste too, so I enjoyed it even more 😊
Kung Pao chicken pilaf with a whole chicken leg
The Kung Pao chicken pilaf came with a huge whole chicken leg on top and rice underneath. They also give you scissors and tongs, so you can cut it up easily to eat.

Eating the rice with the chicken was great—the chicken added lovely savory flavor, and it paired well with the fluffy stir-fried rice!!!!!! The chicken wasn’t heavily seasoned, while the pilaf was pleasantly salty. I enjoyed it so much 🤤🤤🤤
Overall, every dish at Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch was satisfying in both flavor and appearance. With its cozy, exotic atmosphere and varied menu, I highly recommend it if you’re planning a date, anniversary, or simply a happy meal out and craving Italian food like pasta or pizza~!
