Nowon sushi buffet with 400 seats for groups, jjamppong: Kuu Kuu
In short
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is an all-you-can-eat sushi and sashimi buffet on the 6th floor of the Seoul Onchun Building in Nowon, Seoul. Visiting to celebrate the end of radiation treatment, the writer filled a first plate with sushi and hoe (raw fish), then picked up made-to-order jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) from the order counter for the second round. Kuu Kuu Nowon's 400 seats divide into 50-, 80-, and 300-person spaces that can be booked out, making it roomy enough for a large family gathering.

Why we chose Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch for a celebration meal
When you want to eat all the sushi and hoe (raw fish) you can handle, Kuu Kuu is the first place that comes to mind!!! I recently finished radiation treatment, so I went to Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch to celebrate~~ A party means eating a ton of delicious food, right haha
At Kuu Kuu you can enjoy sushi and hoe plus hot food and even dessert all in one place, so I headed straight to Kuu Kuu without a second thought!!

Where do you park at Kuu Kuu Nowon?
You get 2 hours of parking in the Seoul Onchun Building, where Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is located. But on weekends or holidays it can be hard to find a spot since there are so many customers. If the building lot is full you'll need to use a nearby paid lot, and every Saturday you can get up to 4 hours of free parking at the Hagye Technotown underground parking lot (10 Nowon-ro 15-gil, Nowon-gu, Seoul).
I took public transit that day, so this isn't confirmed firsthand — please check with the store for exact parking info.

Prices and how long you can stay
Prices at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch are ₩27,900 for weekday lunch, ₩31,900 for weekday dinner, and ₩35,900 on weekends and holidays. If the restaurant is fully booked, your time is limited to 90 minutes.

400 seats and group hire for big parties
The interior is huuuuge. Of all the Kuu Kuu branches I've been to, this was the biggest... There's even a play room where kids can play.
They said group bookings are possible too. There are 400 seats total, split into 50-, 80-, and 300-person spaces, so you can use one as an independent, semi-private space — perfect if you're planning a group gathering.
California rolls, sushi, and the sashimi counter
Let's start with the California roll section

There's a huge variety of rolls, from gunkan to maki. There are rolls topped with hoe (raw fish), even ones with beef!

Next up, sushi!! Salmon, yellowtail, flounder — lots of sushi varieties, plus hoe too. What's amazing about Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is that they even have Norwegian raw salmon sashimi, which isn't even at the Gold branch.

Hot food, salad, and drink stations
The BBQ section has all kinds of hot food. If you think Kuu Kuu is just hoe and sushi, think again. The hot food selection is huge too — not just seafood like crab and shrimp, but lamb, pork ribs, fried foods, even soup, it's no joke.
I was surprised to see lamb ribs. Apparently the lamb ribs are available all day.
The salad section is full of fresh vegetables and various sauces so you can mix and match your own salad. There are also pre-made salads already tossed with sauce.
The drinks are varied too. Not just soda — there's plum juice, slushies, and coffee and tea to go with dessert at the end.

Desserts and marble ice cream
The dessert spread is truly spectacular. Waffles, bingsu (shaved ice), chocolate fondue, fruit, cake, donuts, and all kinds of ice cream. You know Kuu Kuu's signature dessert is the marble ice cream, right???
Marble ice cream used to only be on the weekday dinner and weekend menus, but apparently it's been upgraded so you can enjoy it at lunch too!!! Kids will really get to enjoy this during school break.

Unlimited draft beer for a Naver review
If you write a Naver review, you get unlimited draft beer for free!!! At the Nowon branch it's not Filite — it's real draft Terra and Kelly for free, so make sure to write a review and enjoy it!!!

First plate of sushi and hoe, second plate with jjamppong
Since I was at Kuu Kuu, I filled my first plate with sushi and hoe. Since it's a buffet, no need to worry the quality of the hoe or sushi will be lower — the hoe had absolutely no fishy taste and was really high quality. Thanks to that, I enjoyed it to my heart's content.

After thoroughly enjoying the sushi, I was craving something spicy and brothy. So I asked for jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) at the order counter. I loaded my second plate up with hoe, rolls, and sushi again, and eating it alongside the jjamppong made it even more delicious!!

How sweet was the melon, and the made-to-order waffles
There was so much dessert to eat I lost track. First off, there's a wide variety of fruit and all of it was in great condition. The melon in particular was so sweet and delicious. It's hard to buy good melon these days, but Kuu Kuu's melon sweetness is no joke.
Also, at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch a staff member grills the waffles for you directly. Thanks to that you can enjoy super crispy waffles with no hassle. I had mine with ice cream~~~
There was so much variety from sushi to dessert that I lost myself eating and 2 hours flew by lol. Luckily it wasn't fully booked when I went, so I could enjoy myself as long as I wanted. Next time I have something to celebrate, I want to go back to Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch again!!!
