Today I visited a bar in Euljiro 3-ga where you can soak up both the night view between the high-rises and that Hipjiro (hip + Euljiro) atmosphere. From the cozy indoor space vs. the wide-open Euljiro rooftop, to the review of the handmade dishes that were filling enough to count as a real meal — I'll share the location and visit info for anyone looking for a place to go in Euljiro for a date or an after-work get-together.
Today's archive — a bar in Euljiro 3-ga, Another Level.

I've been archiving atmospheric spaces through all four seasons. I went to refresh myself with good food and a drink on the rooftop, and the handmade dishes made in-house were satisfying too. It's open until midnight, so it'd work well as a second-round spot, but it was also great for having dinner and drinks all in one place.
Where is Another Level and how do you get there?

Another Level is on the 4th floor of a building at 11 Euljiro12-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul. It's about a minute from Exits 10 and 11 of Euljiro 3-ga Station, so it was easy to find.
Coming out of Exit 10, I walked about 130m straight ahead and turned into the second alley on the left, and the building came right into view.

If you go around to the left from the main entrance on the 1st floor, you'll find this atmospheric entrance, and then it's up the elevator to the 4th floor — arrived! It was a bar in Euljiro 3-ga that was easy to find even as an after-work meeting spot.
Inside Another Level: mood and seating
The 4th-floor interior at Another Level had that Hipjiro vibe, with a mix of seating types — round tables, long tables, and sofa seats. We went pretty much right at opening, but there were already small groups of customers inside, so I picked out the empty spots to capture the mood. Once office workers' after-work hours rolled around, the seats started filling up fast even though it was a weekday evening.

Seeing the cleanly open kitchen and a Cesco pest-management sticker gave me even more confidence, and the staff were friendly too, which made for an even more pleasant time at this bar in Euljiro 3-ga.

The soft lighting kept it from feeling dark or stuffy, and the interior felt comfortable overall. I saw couples on dates as well as office workers who'd just finished work, so it seemed to work for everything from a two-person date to a bigger after-work gathering.
The Euljiro rooftop city view between the high-rises
What I especially liked about Another Level was the rooftop, tucked between the surrounding high-rises with a great city view.
Is this what urban romance feels like? With the cool night air just right for this time of year, watching the office windows light up one by one, I couldn't tell if I was getting drunk on the drinks or the atmosphere — way over my limit either way! If you're looking for a rooftop with a great night view in Euljiro, I think this is a place worth checking out!
What's on the menu and drink list?

Besides dishes hearty enough to be a full meal, like pizza, pasta, and gambas, there were also anju (drinking snacks) like yukhoe (Korean beef tartare), chicken, cheese, and fruit.

There was also a good range of wine — red, white, rosé, and port wine

and highballs, beer, and whisky to choose from depending on your taste.

What really pushed up my satisfaction was that the food never felt like reheated store-bought stuff — it was clearly handmade. That night we paired gambas, pepperoni pan pizza, and arugula cream pasta with highballs.
What we ordered at Another Level, prices and taste
- Gambas ₩20,000
- Focaccia dough pepperoni pan pizza ₩19,000
- Arugula cream pasta ₩18,000
- Suntory highball ₩10,000
Gambas, 20,000 won
There was genuinely a generous amount of shrimp, so I never felt shortchanged the whole time I was eating.

Dipping the warm, freshly baked bread into the oil and piling on shrimp and other toppings was a great combo. The gambas portion was big, and with the bread on top of that, it tasted great but also left us really full, haha.

Focaccia dough pepperoni pan pizza, 19,000 won
With pepperoni and cheese piled on generously, it looked delicious just from the visual.

The cheese's richness and nutty flavor really came through, and it had that satisfying feel of a proper handmade pizza.

Arugula cream pasta, 18,000 won
With arugula and cheese piled on generously, this pasta held up against most Italian restaurants. The cream sauce was generous too, so it never felt lacking while we ate, and the noodles were cooked just right.

A hint of truffle aroma made the cream pasta even more savory, and the mound of arugula on top made for a great combination. What stood out across all three dishes was that they weren't stingy on portions just because they're technically bar food.
Suntory highball, 10,000 won
This place turned out to be a highball spot too. Well-balanced, with a nice crisp freshness.

One sip in, it had a refreshing, tangy taste with real crispness, and it paired well with the food.
Final verdict: who is Another Level best for?
