Goyang sushi restaurant 9-piece set meal: Min Cook Dasima

They have been running this place in the same spot for more than 20 years since 2001—such a true old-school local favorite. The food tastes great and looks gorgeous too, so I highly recommend it for an anniversary or date! I had sushi for the first time in a while, and it was still so delicious!

Min Cook Dasima near Hwajeong Station: location and atmosphere

The address is 37 Hwasin-ro 260beon-gil, Deogyang-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, and the hours are 11:00–21:00. There is a break time, and parking, takeout, local currency payments, and Wi-Fi are available.

It is on the second floor—get off the elevator and head a little farther inside, and you will see it right away!

It is really impressive that they have kept the business going for 25 years since 2001... a place with its own history.

Isn't the atmosphere so pretty? I recommend it for a family meal, a date, or even dining alone! The view is lovely too... E-Mart Hwajeong is right next door, so you can park there and visit. Min Cook provides parking support.

They have a separate lunch-discount menu too, so I will have to come back at lunchtime next time :) The lunch discount is available from 11:00 to 14:30!

These are Min Cook Dasima's popular dishes! Honestly, everything is delicious no matter what you choose, but I recommend the sushi set meal the most!

This happened to be my first meal of the day, so I was starving... I was the first customer right as break time ended, so the restaurant was relatively quiet, but it is usually a busy popular spot! Luckily, I got in with no wait~

They serve egg porridge before the meal.

I was hungry, so I finished it all... but the sushi set meal is large, so I recommend eating just a little of the porridge!

Ta-da! Isn't the spread really generous? I wondered what this was, opened it up, and found piping-hot jangguk (clear Japanese-style soup)!

There are nine pieces of sushi, and the fish is seriously thick! The salad is so refreshing, and the set includes three kinds of tempura: shrimp, pepper, and kabocha squash. I was even surprised to find braised radish and eel...

These days, 10 pieces of sushi alone can cost over ₩24,000, so isn't this a really great value at ₩25,000 with all of this? It is generous, and it tastes great too.
